My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gorgi!

We are heartbroken to have to rehome our beloved Gorgi, a sweet 12-year-old female terrier, due to a sudden relocation. We were forced to move from our rental home due to a pipe leak, and the owner deciding to sell. We were not able to find a home where dogs are accepted.

About Gorgi:

We found Gorgi on the side of the road when she was around 6 months old, and we adopted her through Hellen Woodward in Carlsbad. She’s been with our family for 12 wonderful years and is truly a beloved member of our household.

Gorgi is friendly, gentle, and loving with our three kids: an 8-year-old son and twin 4-year-old daughters. They all share a special bond and enjoy spending time together.

When we had cats, Gorgi always got along with them perfectly.

Gorgi enjoys walks around the neighborhood, leisurely strolls around the block, and roaming the yard. She is house-trained and knows how to use the doggie door to access the yard. She still enjoys playing despite her age.

Gorgi is a wonderful dog and we’re deeply saddened that we can’t keep her, but we know she will make a loving companion for someone who can give her the care and attention she deserves.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate dog who enjoys the simple pleasures of life, Gorgi might be the perfect fit for your home.
