Madden entered Los Angeles Animal Care and Control - Lancaster as a stray with a painful eye that needed medical attention. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on January 8th. Madden is estimated to be 8 years old and weighs 13 lbs.
Madden is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling while he recovers from eye surgery. We are so glad he is getting lots of TLC in the comfort of a home.
With some help from his Fling Mom, Madden shared this update:
"Madden here! I wanted to let you know how my 1st week went with my fling family.
* I am completely potty-trained.
* I love giving hugs and snuggling. Oh, I really like belly rubs.
* I ride in the car like a champ.
* I'm not food motivated. I don't even eat my breakfast until mid-morning.
* I sleep through the night in my crate. I can also sleep with you all night.
* I am good on a leash but a little skittish when walking. Noises make me nervous. My fling mom is taking me to different places, trying to help me feel comfortable.
* I listen very well. I sit and come when called.
* I'm not fazed if you need to leave me for a few
hours.
* I get along with other dogs.
I know I will be a good and loving companion to my forever family."
We know you will be, Madden!
