My story

Crimson is ready to bring some sunshine into your life.

This spunky, 1.5 year old mixed breed is the perfect size at 45lbs! She came to us as a transfer from one of our local rescue partners.

Crimson is quite the snuggler, and will be happy to keep you warm all winter long. She has been making great strides toward potty training, has good recall and walks nicely on leash. She knows sit, and likes to show off her shake too! She has all the skills needed to be an excellent walking buddy!

Crimson has lived well with kids of all ages, and loves playing with dog friends! She would fit in well with a busy, active household that keeps her mind and body busy.

Crimson is spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, has received dewormer, flea, tick, & heartworm prevention, and she is microchipped!

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

2.
Meet the Pet

After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

The Fox Valley Humane Association believes in caring for pets and their people. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to meet our adoptable animals.

The Fox Valley Humane Association is open to the public during the following hours. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
