My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Sophie! She is a two-month-old mystery mix. She was being given away in a grocery store parking a lot alongside her siblings when she was six weeks old. A Good Samaritan intervened and got her and her sisters to I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue where they are living our best life with their foster family. She is all black with adorable white markings that will steal your heart. Sophie loves to play but when it's time to wind down, she loves to snuggle. She is a puppy, so she is learning what to do and what not do. She's likely going to be about 20 pounds. If you have patience and are ready for puppy snuggles then she is the girl for you!

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
