Meet Elaine, an eight-year-old Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a tiny seven-pound frame that’s perfect for cuddling. Elaine is potty trained and thrives in a calm, home-centered environment. Her dream is to find a human who works from home or considers themselves a homebody—someone who can shower her with the love and all the attention she deserves.

Elaine adores her daily walks and is a pro on a leash, but she also loves having a backyard or open space to stretch her legs and show off her playful zoomies. She’s a sunbathing queen, often found soaking up rays in her favorite sunny spot.

Elaine is happiest when she’s close to her person, and while she’s not a fan of crates, she’d love nothing more than to sleep by your side at night. Don’t worry—this little lady barely takes up any space.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
