My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chipmunk is an absolute sweetheart who’s ready to bring love and joy into her forever home. From the moment you meet her, she’ll win you over with her affectionate personality. She loves everyone she meets, greeting them with a full wagging body!
This gal melts into belly rubs, rolling over to soak up all the affection she can get. Chipmunk is incredibly laid back and happiest cuddled up by your side, gazing up with the most endearing puppy eyes. She knows her manners too—she sits patiently for treats and takes them gently, showing off her intelligence and polite nature.

If you’re looking for a pup to shower with affection, Chipmunk is ready to meet you and show you just how special she is.

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Chipmunk at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering him.

Behavior notes:
01/26/2025 staff notes:
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Chipmunk was laying on her bed with wide scared eyes and softened her eye contact when I reached in with the leash. She did not move from her bed and allowed easy leashing. She got right up and began wagging her tail.

LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally– loves to greet everyone

HANDLING :
Chipmunk came right into my lap with soft eyes and wagged her whole body for cuddles. She allowed all handling and loves to roll showing her belly for full body rubs. She loves to get rubs, cuddles, and all over pets. She is a very laid back girl and will sit next to you looking up with cute puppy eyes. She sits very nicely and patiently for treats and takes them gently.

PLAY:
Minimal interest

TOYS
Loves toys, will release willingly

01/25/2025 staff notes:
She is a perfect angel. Super sweet immediately rolled on her back for belly rubs. Knows sit stay and come. Seems to be housebroken. Pulled minimally on leash. Very good manners!
