My story

Meet Tiger, a 2-year-old, 24 lb all round terrier type mix looking for his forever home!

Background: Tiger was turned in by his family when they had to move and just were too overwhelmed with life:( We were so glad that we could be there to be his soft landing spot.

Personality: We are just getting to know this guy and so far, he seems to love all people and dogs! I suspect he was pretty traumatized by loud voices as I noticed when my neighboor was yelling at his kids his mouth started to chatter. He settled quickly when I just scooped him up and brought him inside.

Health: Tiger is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Training: Tiger seems comfortable on a leash, is housetrained and seems very well adjusted to life!

Ideal Home: I think Tiger would be great in about any situation. I have not heard him bark yet. I think he would be a great only dog. He would love someone or a family! that just wants to love and treasure him.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.

Adoptions can be arranged by appointment or our dogs can be met on the first Saturday of the month at Petsmart, Desert Ridge Noon to 3:00 PM.
