My story

This is Jupiter. Jupiter is a 10 week old black lab mix. He is a sweet, charming, loving little boy. Jupiter wants to be around people as often as possible. He loves to cuddle and play tug. When his siblings are being too crazy and hyper, Jupiter likes to go investigate things around him, or cuddle up with you, he's just not about the chaos. Jupiter would make the most amazing companion for a wide range of lifestyles. He has spent time with large dogs, cats and kids and gets along with everyone! He would love a nice fenced in backyard and someone to take him on plenty of investigative walks! Will you help Jupiter see more of this world?

All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm tested negative ( puppies age 7 months and older) and microchipped. A puppy's adoption fee is $350. There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Heartland Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit serving South Bend & surrounding cities. We are comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who work to find loving homes for homeless pets in our area.

Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
