Amber is a 14-year-young Siamese cat with a petite frame and a big heart. She is incredibly friendly and loves being around people, often staying by your side for cuddles and companionship. Amber is quite the conversationalist and will happily let you know when it’s mealtime. Her gentle, affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for someone seeking a loyal and loving friend.

Amber’s world changed when her person moved to assisted living, and now she’s looking for a new forever home. She has lived with her feline friend, Lila, and it would be wonderful to keep them together if possible. Amber and Lila make a sweet and comforting duo, perfect for bringing love and joy to any home.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
