Gailen is a purebred Siberian Husky. He was brought to us, along with a purebred female German Shepherd and 4 puppies (their babies). They were all surrendered due to an extreme and unfortunate change in their living situation. Although the dogs have gone from living in a truck bed to having a safe and warm place, Gailen is still understandably confused about all the changes. He was extremely underweight when he arrived and has been very slow to put on weight (basically none).since he has been with us. We expect Gailen has worn down all his incisors simply from anxiety. He is also heartworm positive. Gailen obviously will need a very special home. This handsome boy is available as a foster to adopt. The ideal foster will be familiar not only with working breeds, but huskies in particular. We expect he is good with other dogs, as he came in with others, but always suggest a meet and greet.
