Meet Rory, a young and vivacious soul, full of energy and love. She`s as sweet as they come, with a friendly demeanor that can warm even the coldest of hearts. Rory`s got a few tricks up her sleeve too, she knows `sit` and `shake` commands, making her a quick learner. And oh, how she loves her treats! She`s always eager to please and quick to learn new things, especially if there`s a tasty reward involved. Rory`s infectious energy and love for life make her a perfect companion. She`s just waiting for a loving home where she can share her joy and zest for life. Her sweet nature and playful spirit would make any house feel like a home filled with unconditional love and happiness.
Rory will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how she will do with cats.

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
