My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet and sassy Fig is ready for adventure! This beautiful girl just arrived to our shelter with her two siblings after her family surrendered them. She is pretty shy but warms up quickly once she knows you are there to give her love and attention. Fig should do well in a home with other friendly dogs but may need to be around kids that will give her space and allow her the chance to gain confidence. We know Fig is going to blossom into a beautiful butterfly, she just needs a bit of time first!
Fig is already spayed, received her first vaccines and microchipped! Come meet this silly lady today!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
