My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cooper, a dashing orange tabby with star power that rivals any Hollywood leading man - yes, even Cooper Koch! With his sunny coat and irresistible charm, Cooper is poised to steal the spotlight in your heart.

This handsome boy has just arrived and is still adjusting to his new surroundings, so he might be a little shy when making new friends. But beneath that initial reserve is a warm, playful soul waiting to shine. Whether he’s quietly observing like a true leading man preparing for his role or cautiously exploring his new stage, Cooper’s charisma is undeniable.

If you’re ready to give this rising star the time and love he needs to settle in, you’ll find he’s the ultimate co-star in life’s sweetest moments. Come meet this orange superstar and let him show you why he’s destined to take center stage in your heart!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
