My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Raven: A Playful, Affectionate Cane Corso Mix Seeking a Loving Home

Meet Raven, a 7-month-old Cane Corso mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! Raven is your typical puppy—full of energy, excitement, and a curiosity for the world around her. Whether she’s running around in the yard, chewing on her favorite toy, or snuggling up with you for some quiet time, Raven is sure to bring joy to your life. As with most puppies, she’s still learning and growing, but with a little guidance and patience, she’s going to be an amazing companion.

Training & Behavior Needs:

Raven is still a young pup, and like many puppies, she’s in need of some basic training. She tends to pull on the leash during walks, which means she’ll need some work on her leash manners. She’s smart and eager to please, though, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. With positive reinforcement and consistency, Raven will quickly pick up the skills she needs to be a polite walking buddy.

Like many young dogs, Raven has some boundary issues, especially when it comes to food—she once stole a donut out of someone`s hand! While she’s still learning, her food-driven nature makes her a quick learner when it comes to training. Raven responds well to treats and positive reinforcement, so she’ll thrive with a family who is patient, consistent, and ready to help her refine her manners.

Socialization & Home Environment:

Raven is a sweet and affectionate dog, but she can be a little timid at first. She may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s all about love and cuddles—especially when there are treats involved! She is still working on her socialization skills, so she’ll need a family who can help her gain confidence in new situations and with new people.

Raven has not yet been cat-tested, so if you have cats, a proper introduction would be required. She is still a puppy and may be curious or excitable, so it’s important to make sure she and your cat are a good match before bringing them together.

Raven does show interest in interacting with other dogs, and she would benefit from a proper meet-and-greet before being introduced into a multi-dog household. She’s still learning how to behave around other dogs, so taking things slow and ensuring compatibility is key.

Why Raven?

Raven is an affectionate, playful pup who has so much love to give! She’s a loyal companion who will

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to fill out an pre-adoption application. If that application is approved, the dog/cat must be spayed/neutered before it leaves our shelter (if not already done). If it is a puppy under 4 months old, we allow it to go home with the adopters under a foster care agreement until it is old enough to be returned for spay/neuter. Kittens are allowed to leave before spay/neuter is done, but they must be done within a certain time frame.
Fees: Dogs/puppies range from $150-300, depending on if they came in already spayed/neutered or if we paid to have that done.
Cats range from $80 - $140, though we often have deals on older cats or cats that have been there a long time.
Kittens are $60 with $25 refunded once it has been spayed/neutered.
All adoptions include at least the first vaccination, deworming, de-fleaing, microchip ID, and 6 weeks of pet insurance.
