Story
My name is Penelope, and I am the sweetest, friendliest, most outgoing “BeagleBull” you might ever meet! Yes, BeagleBull is a thing. I came to Forever Loved from the county after being found as a stray, and it was truly in the nick of time. I had severe anemia, I was very underweight, and I had a huge mass hanging that made everyone cringe. I received all the loving care that a sick girl could wish for and here I am, ready for my forever home! I am 11 years old (but I play ball like a puppy) and I now weight 32.8 lbs. Besides great medical care and lots of loving from the volunteers, I’ve also gotten the best post-operative care in my foster home. I am reliably house trained, I ride well in the car, I walk quite nicely on the leash, and I have very nice house manners. I love to snuggle up on my blanket or bed, and you’ll barely hear a peep from me. I love stuffy toys to pieces, literally, so I need tough chew toys, but I have a tennis ball that is a favorite and I sleep with it, carry it, and love to play fetch and “keep away.” I am great with kids! I don’t jump up, and I display a very nice confidence around novel things. I’ve not had much experience around other dogs, they kind of scare me a bit, but I don’t “lose it” when they pass by. If a stranger dog on a walk comes too close, I will bark to let them know I’m not comfortable in that moment. My foster mom moves me off the path of the incoming dog and helps me feel safe and comfortable. I’m learning very fast! I think it’s fair to say I am easy to have around, and there hasn’t been any handling that I haven’t been a champ at! Please apply to meet me, I’m so grateful that the rest of my life will be the best of my life - with you!

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue** Yellowstone is a special and adorable mutt-mix, approximately one-and-a-half years old and weighing around 22 pounds. He came to rescue after being found as a stray. He was running the streets in a particular area around Grand Canyon University, and was being fed by a nearby business. A humane trap was set for another stray dog and ended up catching Yellowstone instead. Yellowstone is now safe at rescue, off the streets, but he would really love to find a forever family asap! Yellowstone HATES shelter life. He is very stressed in his kennel, bouncing all around, barking and jumping off the kennel walls. Out of his kennel, Yellowstone takes a bit of time to relax, but is a totally different (and wonderful!) dog. Yellowstone will need a patient family willing to allow him the time he needs to decompress from life on the streets and time in a kennel/shelter environment. Yellowstone is shy to approach new people, but once he trusts you, he will climb in your lap for pets and love. We are sure he will be a lap dog one day in his forever home! Yellowstone is working on his leash skills and getting better every day; he will pancake when going through doors, but will keep moving forward with gentle encouragement. Yellowstone has met some friends at rescue and enjoys being social with other dogs and especially likes being chased. If your dog at home needs a buddy, bring them in to meet Yellowstone! Yellowstone would do best in a home that is relatively quiet, with no young children. It will take him a bit of time to adjust to a new environment, but we have NO doubt that Yellowstone will be worth a little extra effort. <3 Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet with Yellowstone! Yellowstone's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations including rabies, and microchip.January 8, 2025, 3:05 am

Story
He is a happy playful dog. Loves to play. Fetch is his favorite. He needs chew toys so he doesnt chew on items he shouldnt. He loves to be outside but doesnt like to be locked out of house, so doggy door is very helpful. He will go to bathroom outside with a doggy door. But if locked inside he may go to the bathroom inside. He is a dasher, so put up gates if you dont want him to get loose. He will sit when told. But he still will jump up when greeting someone. He just wants to say hi and then he calms down. He will sleep a little in crate but doesnt like to stay in it. He is not a big barker. He will bark to talk to you, and bark when he hears you come home. He is a sweet sole and smart. Just didnt have enough time to train him more. He loves to cuddle. Great with kids. I have a 4 yr old grandchild and he loves to follow her around and they keep eachother company. He is great with other dogs.
