Hi, I am Rex; I am energetic and really looking for another dog to play with! I don't think I have ever met a dog I don't like. I love going on hikes and exploring with my current parents. When the day is done I look forward to hanging out and cuddling on the couch if I am allowed. Little kids do scare me though. I really love my 3-year-old human brother and playing with him, but when more kids come around, I don't like it as much.

Story
Rex is estimated to be about 7 to 8 years old. We got him as a rescue 5 years ago and we're told he was between 2 and 3. We do not know about his previous life before us. He is very sweet and loves belly rubs. He loves going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. He is very friendly with other dogs and can play for hours. Rex gets anxious around children and does not do well especially with younger children. He was diagnosed eith Addisons disease about 3 years ago and requires a daily steroid pill and a monthly injection. He would do really well with a family that doesn't have children and has time to take him for walks and dog park trips.

Riley is a 6 year old beagle. She is super sweet and loving. She loves to have her spot on the couch and look outside. She gets along great with our other dog and our cats. She has become very jealous and acting out around the baby. She does great with kids, I think she’d be best in a home with either older kids or somewhere she can be main focus. She is really an amazing addition to our family but she deserves to be the center of attention just like she would love. She wants to be laying on the couch all day and is very laid back.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.A VERY SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM MAY'S FOSTER;  May is a sweet 5 yr old, 30 lb beagle.  She loves to be by your side: whether sitting with you when you read or work on the computer, hang out with you when doing things around the house or yard, and taking car rides.  I recently took a long 1 day trip and she was a great passenger and companion for the day. She is very good with recall. May loves to play fetch and walks well on a leash. Since she loves to play fetch and run, a fenced yard would be nice for her. May is crate trained and good with house breaking. She has been dog selective so she may be best as an only dog. She he loves people so much and would be very happy if someone works from home or is retired.  I think she thinks she is a little person. If you would like a loyal companion and someone to love, May may be the girl for you. May is a girl on the smaller side of medium and filled with beagle genes.  She has many of the wonderful beagle traits which have made the breed so very popular for decades. You will enjoy taking her for walks and watching her play in your backyard, ears flapping in the breeze as she chases that stick. She is the type of dog who likes to please her people and she will try hard to do what you want her to because that is who she is. She has all her shots and is hoping someone will come for her so she can have her own family to love once again. She says to ask you to bring toys when you come to see her! NOTE: As May is a hound, we are hoping for a home with a physical fence so she and her inquisitive nose will be safe. My name is Elvis and I am a darling little Tennessee Treasure who wants to rock your world with the best Beagle fun ever.  I was found as a thin little guy, and they say that I am 12 weeks old.  I am looking for that perfect Beagle family that has a fenced yard and who adores my breed with all our funny quirks.  I am just starting out with my life and so far I am loving and friendly with everyone.  I am not housetrained yet, but working on it and I am learning what a wireccrate is all about.  I will probably be a 25-30 pound adult Beagle when fully grown.  I love kids, cats, other dogs and I love going places with my people. It seems the world's in such chaos and desperation and obviously the animals are suffering greatly. This girl named Dixie has hair loss only due to the huge flea infestation that she came to a vet's office with as she was left in a crammed crate too small for her and 4 other dogs.  There they sat in the heat of August and full of fleas and miserable and not able to move because they were sitting on top of each other. They had belong to an elderly woman that was going to a nursing home and her son who would cared for the dogs for a short time had obviously not done his job. He dropped them off on the front porch and left with just a little bit of an explanation on they need a home We can't keep them My mom's going into it nursing home and I can't take care of them. We're trying to take care of them as a responsible rescue group. I have taken two from the set of four and I need Foster homes for three others. What we know about these dogs is that they are sweet shy submissive kind and under the age of four. They're no larger than 26 lb or less. I just need to have foster homes it will help Critter Calvary take them in get them what they need quickly and find them good homes. They will be beauties once the hair grows back because they are already beautiful inside. Can you help can you help them feel love and safety and comfort and the promise that they'll have a far better life than they've been living. Write to us please today quickly they won't stay long. We don't have a magic wand but they won't stay long. People love beagles and they're the perfect size for a family that doesn't want a large dog and maybe has children that want to be loved by a very gentle kind and easygoing dog breed.
