Meet Ivanhoe (Google it), Ivan for short, who came to NorthStar in 2022 all the way from Kentucky! Ivanhoe was adopted and has lived a good life. Unfortunately, his adopter, who has medical issues, can no longer give him the life he deserves so he is back with NorthStar. Ivanhoe is currently about 13 years old, is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. He is a very sweet, short-legged, easy going Beagle. Ivan loves to be pet - his favorite thing is slow scratches under his chin. When his eyes look into yours, it melts your heart. His eyes are saying LOVE ME. He likes to cuddle on the couch with his person during the day. Ivanhoe really is a sweet boy and just wants to find his forever family so he can be loved and love them back! I am now 70 yrs old and getting ready to move into a senior living apartment or with my daughter and her family. Either way I am unable to take him. I also have acquired some health issues that make it hard to give Jackson the attention he needs. He tends to urinate on pee pads. I think he would be better but we have moved a couple of times. He is smart and I think if someone took the time he could be completely house broken it has been difficult in the apartment I am in now. He really is a sweety

Hello World, my name is Luxco but everyone calls me Lux. My foster mom Says I am a very good boy but that’s because I am. I am about 25-30 lbs possibly a hound beagle X and I am a neutered male. Not sure what that is but that’s what I am. I am house and crate trained. I LOVE other dogs. I have medium energy. I love to run around the yard but I am just as happy curling up and a lap and take a nap. I do get disciplined when I lick this little 2 legged creature in the faces I can’t help it. This creature they call a baby always tasted like carrots, bananas and today he tasted like pumpkin!! I figured I could clean him up and get a little treat for myself!! My foster mom said no more licking the baby!!! Not much fun here!! I love living in my foster home but I would really like to get all the attention. I currently have to share my foster parents with four other dogs and this thing they call a baby.
