I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. JJ is a one-year-old Beagle/Terrier mix who believes every day is leg day. He gets the zoomies like it's his full-time job and will keep you entertained with his high-speed sprints and Olympic-level leaps (which, unfortunately, include jumping on people—but he's working on it!). He was found as a stray at Southwest High School, and while he may not have attended any classes, he definitely majored in "Being Sweet & Friendly 101." JJ loves everyone, but his true passion is toys. He empties his toy box daily like it's his personal mission—because, well, it is. JJ absolutely NEEDS a doggy roommate. People are great, but another dog? That’s the real dream. He’s happiest when he has a furry friend to wrestle with and a human to snuggle (skin-to-skin contact preferred, no personal space required). His hobbies include: ✔️ Playing fetch (but not always returning the ball) ✔️ Mastering counter-surfing when nobody’s looking ✔️ Testing his chewing skills exclusively on toys (most of the time) ✔️ Riding in the car like an adventure-seeking pup ✔️ Avoiding the kennel like it’s lava JJ is housebroken with a doggy door, leash-trained, and an expert in spreading joy (and maybe a few misplaced toys). Frank is 3 1/2 years old. He’s a sweet dog. We got him when he was about 8 weeks old. He’s a great outdoor dog, loves the rivers, hiking, long walks. He’s very cuddly and very needy. He requires lots of cuddles, lots of attention, and lots of love. He thrives off routine and is very adaptable. We would love for whoever is interested in Frank to know these things as he requires a lot of time. He is not the type of dog to get for a kid that will get sick of him when something shinier and new comes along. He is a great guard dog and will alert you if anyone is near the property. He does great with other dogs as one could expect. There are some dogs who don’t like him and some dogs he does not like but he usually has no issue. He frequented dog parks most his life and LOVED it. He loves toys especially ones with the squeaker sound. He is a what you see is what you get type of dog.

My collar says it too, it says “bestest boy”! I'm a young beagle 2-3 years old. I LOVE playing with other dogs, and I LOVE cuddling with the humans here!! I will trust fall into your lap. I listen pretty well for a beagle and will do anything for a treat. I get lots of treats to go outside so house training has gone really well. I'm also kind of crate trained, I sleep in my crate at night and I stay there when my foster parents are at work for a few hours during the day, but I do bark a little bit. I will stop for a peanut butter-stuffed Kong. They joke they should have named me Tigger because I jump up and down and twist when I get excited for food!! I'm pretty smart and might be a good dog for agility or even a barn hunt, I would love doggy daycare. I am a very social dog with the other dogs. I get car sick (which is why I am not great in the car). If I take medication for car sickness, I am good.
