Is anyone missing an approximately 14 year old, female, Beagle mix? She was found at Hickory Ridge Park in Rockwall on 03/11/2025. She will be on hold for 7 days to allow her owners time to claim her. If you recognize her, please call the Rockwall Adoption Center at 972-771-7750 ext 2.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Eight is enough! Yes, that was a TV series, but that is what we told Mom and the Dad of these little nuggets and made sure that it really was enough. And now, our number one priority is to find homes for these little babies who are as adorable as they come. As with most infants, personalities have yet to emerge, and we will update as we go along. For right now it is play, eat, sleep, repeat. Dad looks like a giant Beagle - we are guessing Foxhound - and weighs in at around 50 lbs, Mom is more petite and likely a Heeler/Aussie combo. The babies should grow up to be 40-50 lbs. Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Gracie (originally known as Yvette) is one of the eight puppies in the Y-litter. Four are left, and all would love to join a furever family soon. Gracie is an energetic puppy who loves to be outdoors and play with the other dogs, big and small. She is doing great with potty training, actually loves to sleep in her crate (mostly with the door open), and is very respectful at dinner time, never trying to get into the other dogs' bowls. True to her hound background, she loves to explore and sniff the premises and would love to accompany a lucky family on long walks. The leash is not her best friend yet, but she is working on it.
