Story
Meet Dante — a sweet, 7-month-old beagle with an adorable face, a loving personality, and a big heart for people. My husband and I purchased him for $3,000, but due to unexpected changes in our schedules and upcoming travel, we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Dante is still very much a puppy, and we’re hoping to find him a wonderful new home as soon as possible — one where he can thrive and bond with his new family before he gets too settled with us.

Story
Susie is a super sweet, 45-pound, one-year old, high-energy beagle/pointer mix with lots of love to give. This girl has it all...brains, beauty, and personality. She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Susie is eager to learn, loyal, and wants to be with people. She's a bit shy at first, but warms up offering an abundance of kisses. Her spunky nature makes her a vocal girl that has no problem telling you she wants attention or hears the boogeyman at the door. Unfortunately, with all the recent changes after her elderly owner's stroke, she's been working through some separation anxiety issues. Luckily, she's making great progress with minimal anxious outbursts. With a little patience and love, calmer days are a given. Susie is like sunshine and happiness rolled into one! Although she is crate-trained, she prefers the freedom to run, jump, and play. Bouncing around with a furry friend or fun toys make playtime even better. With her, one good fur friend is the best. Multiple fur friends at once can be overwhelming and scare her. When in public, she remains calm and unmoved by other pups in the area. But, watch this warmhearted girl become your chief protector if she feels you're in danger. With this great big world, she's not a fan of carrides. Luckily, she does settle calmly in the floor after a short time. One important tip to know: a good, tall, wood fence is a must. She is naturally curious and will climb. Plus, her high jumps could qualify for the doggy Olympics. Susie is leash-trained and housebroken. She is primarily an inside pup with outside exercise, potty, and playtime. Being outdoors by herself presents some challenges, which are getting better, as well. During the day, it is both exciting and scary to her. Seeing her person makes her more comfortable and willing to venture out. For her, once the sun goes down, let the exploring begin! Nighttime is her favorite time to unwind, give extra kisses, and cuddle. She's good with males and females, young in age to young at heart. However, when it's zoomie-time, caution should be taken for the smallest of littles to avoid unintentional collisions. Her ideal home would be a person, couple, or family that can keep up with her vivacious spirit and zest for life. Susie knows basic commands. However, this smart girl's abilities are limitless for anyone willing to teach her. She loves hearing 'Susie is a good girl!' And, that she is. She deserves someone that can see just how incredible she is and how much love she has to give. Could that be you? Apply for Susie today to find your best girl and furever friend. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Susie, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Artemis VI is a lovable 5-year-old female dog with a heart full of curiosity and a spirit that never wavers. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s great with other dogs, always eager to sniff and explore new friends, though she hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t been around cats yet. With a gentle nature and a happy attitude, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s an easygoing companion who fits in well with her pack. Fully leash-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained, Artemis is as well-mannered as she is sweet. She enjoys daily walks and roaming around but is just as content relaxing by your side. In fact, her love language is simpleâ&#194&#128&#194&#148being with you. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a true shadow dog, always sticking close to her favorite people. Though she hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t shown much interest in toys, Artemis is highly treat-motivated and always ready for a snack. She settles into her crate easily and would thrive in just about any home, whether with an active family or a quiet companion. Despite her past hardships, she remains happy, resilient, and full of love. If you're looking for a cute, playful, and endlessly loyal friend, Artemis VI is ready to bring joy to your home!
