Story
Meet Liza! She is a 3 yr old female Beauceron/Lab Retriever mix that weighs 53lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/23 as a stray. This lovely girl is a beauty! She has a gentle soul, and she shows it with how she takes treats, walks well on a leash, and enjoys being petted and having her ears scratched. First thing she did when we came into the room is find the fluffy dog bed and told me that it was hers! Its clear Liza wants to find her own loving family that can provide her a secured backyard to play in, but lived indoors, taking those long snoozes on her own dog bed. As we walked past the other dogs barking she did show interest in them, but no aggression. We do always ask if there is another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. She enjoyed taking in all the smells when we went for a walk so please come spend time with her, take her for a walk and see if you can offer her the loving forever home she deserves.

Story
Bobby is a smart, fun loving, silly 1 1/2 year old boy. He loves his people, loves to play fetch in the backyard and go on walks. He has great leash manners and would make a fantastic running partner! He is crate trained, potty trained and completed a two-week board and train with Kilo and Frei K-9. Bobby would do best as an only dog and in a home without small children. Per Wisdom Panel he is an American Pit Bull, Australian Cattle Dog, GSD, Husky, and American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Due to his breed makeup, no apartments please. If you are interested in adopting or meeting Bobby, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, Zelle, Venmo or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1702303##

Story
Mimosa is 4 years old! She is around 70 pounds and a big cuddle bug. Per Wisdom Panel she is a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull Terrier/Chow Chow/Siberian Husky Mix, along with 11 other breeds. She is great with cats. She is excellent on a leash, house trained, and kennel trained. Mimosa is nervous around anything new and will bark at first, but once she is comfortable and knows her surroundings, she stops barking. She needs an adopter that will be understanding of this and allow her time to become comfortable. She is more comfortable around females, then males. Although Mimosa is good around children and teenagers, a quieter home would be best for her. If you are looking for a dog that will be your best friend and an awesome walking partner, then look no further, Mimosa may be your gal! Due to her breeds, no apartments please!
