He is a medium energy dog who is hoping for a family who wants to include him in all the fun! He’s happy to attend weeknight soccer practice, movie nights, brewery weekends and all the adventures in between. Otto is currently fostered in a multidog household and loves playing with other dogs. He takes other dogs cues well, and entertains himself with toys when his doggy friends are all done playing. With his playful nature he would likely not be a great fit for cats. He has a larger-than-life personality, loves everyone, and wants everyone to love him back. The word “stranger” isn’t in Otto’s vocabulary as he makes friends everywhere he goes. Otto has done wonderfully meeting children; he sometimes forgets his size, so dog-savvy children would be best for him. He’s super sharp, conquering new skills with lightning speed, he has already mastered sit and is working hard on his recall. Otto is fully house and crate trained. He sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and can be crated throughout the day.Otto is improving his leash skills and will need a confident handler who can provide structure on his walks, as he can be super interested in critters and the world around him.
