Story
Meet Tessa, a stunning an approximately 1-year-old Belgian Malinois with smarts, sweetness, and a heart full of love! Tessa is spayed, completely potty trained, and ready for her forever family. She’s an energetic, playful girl who thrives on love and attention. Whether she’s mastering a game of fetch, showing off her skills (she knows sit, stay, and fetch), or snuggling up after a day of fun, Tessa is the ultimate companion. This clever girl has been a breeze to train and adores her toys, especially kongs stuffed with treats to keep her mind busy. She gets along fabulously with other dogs, has been wonderfully friendly with small children, and has never met a stranger she didn’t like! Tessa would be an excellent addition to a home with other dogs to play with or an active family dedicated to keeping her mentally and physically engaged. Tessa does have a few quirks that make her even more endearing, she’s an opportunist and a bit of a kitchen counter snack thief and has a penchant for shoes. When left alone at home, she needs to be crated to keep her curious nature in check. With her high energy and occasional bouts of anxiety stemming from fear, Tessa will thrive in a home that understands her breed’s needs and commits to continued training and plenty of stimulation. Tessa is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventions. If you’re looking for an intelligent, loyal, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Tessa is your girl! Submit an adoption application today! This gorgeous girl won't be available long. $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)

Story
OK, I have seen the best part of life but I have also seen the absolute worst part of life too... ALL within the last 3 months! I was found by a rescuer, after someone on facebook saw a dog attacked by other dogs and possibly hit by a car before that..... :( So a rescuer went to the location and heard my babies crying in a tool shed behind a house. AND the "people" who lived in the house told the rescuer, "just leave them to die- they are not worth saving"...... I mean, WHAT??????? OMG, sometimes a rescuer just wants to hurt someone... but luckily the rescuer said, "i am saving them and you get out of my way", in a really NICE rescuer way.... So, she saved us. I ended up going straight to the specialty vet because my back two legs were rotting- not kidding :( And my puppies went to the rescue and 4 BOTTLE MAMAS- foster moms who literally cared for us just like our mama did! And all my pups found amazing homes! I endured about 5 weeks of surgeries, debridements, cones on my head, pain and meds.... AND I LIVED with ALL FOUR LEGS! My vets and my rescuers just hit it outta the park for me! I am an absolute sweetheart. Only about 45# of love and gentle nature. I am great with other dogs all people and I am ready for my FUREVER LOVING FOREVER FAMILY! Why are you waiting?? ADOPT ME SOON!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Milo was found on the streets in Selah. He was posted as found and no owners came forward. This energetic boy has been fun to foster, playful with all the dogs, and ready to love on some humans. Milo may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he only needs a couple minutes to become best friends with new people (especially if you have some treats in hand). This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway. Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing Faison, a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois mix (estimated birth date 3/10/24) who currently weighs about 60 pounds. She arrived as a stray and has not been claimed. We would expect her to get up to about 70-80 pounds when full grown. Faison is new at the shelter and we are still getting to know her; she does enjoy playing with some of her new dog friends, and we'll update with further information as we learn more about this beautiful girl. Preference given to applicants with Malinois and/or Shepherd experience. FURTHER LISTING DETAILS COMING SOON All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Faison is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
Hello! I'm Sugar! I'm a 3-year-old male Malinois mix with a sleek black coat. Weighing in at 35 kg, I'm a big, cool, and smart pup looking for my forever home! My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I'm ready to find a loving family. I stayed in a foster home for a year, where I was friendly and had a good relationship with my foster mom. My Personality: I'm quite shy around strangers, but give me 3 days to a week, and I'll become friendly. I like to greet other dogs, but I don't always play with them. I'm generally friendly towards dogs my size or smaller. I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd react. I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. have plenty of walking experience and follow people well without pulling on the leash. I don't guard my food against people or other dogs. I'm a quiet boy and hardly ever bark. I'm calm when put in a kennel. I generally only do my business outside. Important to Know: It takes time for me to build a relationship with strangers, usually 1 to 2 weeks. I'm not food-motivated and don't take snacks from strangers. I might seem unmannered or too aggressive with other dogs because I think I'm a small dog and try to play with them. Other dogs might be intimidated by my behavior because of my size. Fun Fact: I'm very cool and smart, showing all the characteristics of a Malinois. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and affectionate companion, I'm your guy! Let's make some wonderful memories together. Love, Sugar ##2260948##

Story
Quick Facts Name: Gongtan Age: 1 year old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Malinois mix Colour: Black (99%)/white (1%) Weight: 23kg Me and Humans Ain't no German Shepherd, ain't no Jindo. I am Gongtan, one year old Malinois mix boy, weighing 23kg. I am covered with 99% sleek black coat. I am an energetic and social boy, always welcoming hoomans and furry friends. Whether they are strangers or my friends, I politely greet everybody and allow them to rub and pet my back. Holding me under by belly is also possible. Not just grown ups, but I get along very well with kids under 13 years old. They are soooo fun to play with! But I know I should not jump on strangers, seniors, kids, or hoomans that fear me. Instead, if hoomans want to give me a hug, I will gently rely myself on them. It is going to feel like I am melting on you! With Dogs and Cats Just like my hooman friends, I also approach to my furry friends because I want to play with them. Some furry friends not necessarily want to play with me and if that is the case, I do not bother them. Personal space matters!!! I consider cats as my friends too. I have lived with a cat named Rectol for months and we were very good friends! Just like how I would hang around with my own kind, when Rectol did not feel like playing with me, I did not bother him at all. Sometimes when Rectol punched my face (whether it was an accident or not...?), I did not take it personally because he was my friend haha. We always slept in the same bed and had no issue at all. During walks, I have seen other cats and of course I took a quick glance, but I did not go crazy or anything. Energy & Activities & Walks In terms of my energy level, I am very active! It must be my Malinois gene where I need to do a lot of outdoor adventures to stay calm at home. I usually visit doggie gym twice a week where I can run freely all day and often visit dog cafes to meet new friends. As long as I get my daily exercise, I can stay calm but if not, I might bite things like plushies, electrical plugs, papers, etc. So, in case you cannot take me outside, just remember to provide me with toys that I can play and bite. Did you know that I love walking ? I might pull on the leash a bit, but I will be under your control and guidance! I have experience walking with several volunteers and strangers and I got a lot of compliments! My current foster pawrent unfortunately had a car accident not too long ago and is unable to walk or guide my other friends, but I have no problem with my pawrent as I know how to control myself under circumstances. Car Rides & Crate Since I was a very little puppy, I was crate-trained but I cannot exactly tell you if I am still good inside crates because I eventually got too big and had no chance to get inside one for a long time. I will probably need to get tested again but I was good before! Cars? Oh man... I used to throw up before during my car ride (especially when I ate before the ride) but it has gone much better. I can now eat during my car ride and know how to get inside the car by myself. Guarding & Potty Break & Barking I usually do not guard my food against my hoomans but sometimes my furry friends try to eat my food while I am eating. In this case, I would bark once to back off. I normally do not bark but I might bark when there is a stranger approaching my home (my pawrent called him a delivery man. I have no idea what that means.. but they always came, left boxes, and left right away without saying hi to me!!!!). Although I can do my business inside and outside, I prefer to do it outside . For some reason I do not feel very comfortable doing my business while I am on the leash (do not ask me why because I have no idea why either) but I can easily do it while I am running or walking freely without my leash. Although I am a boy, I do not lift my leg while I pee and of course, I never mark around. Did you know that I sometimes experience indigestion when I am exposed to a new environment or to new food/treats? You will have an idea when my stool seems to be a bit liquidy. If this ever happens, there is no need to worry about it. Just give me some probiotics as it could help. Last Message I am currently living with my foster pawrent, as well as four (4) other furry friends and one (1) cat. I get along with everyone very well and have no issue at all. My pawrent usually put my kibbles in my bowl and I eat whenever I feel like eating. I love tug-of-war, and playing with plushies and balls, but I love my hoomans WAY MORE! I am a very smart boy who can live in both cities and villages. When hoomans recall, I know I must go back to them. My ideal forever home would be a place where I could actively play with my pawrents. If there is another energetic furry friend already, that would be pawsome!!! If you are looking for a clever furry companion that could actively go on hiking and lots of outdoor adventures, I will be the perfect one for you! Contact my team for more information!!!!
