You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hi there! I'm Judy, a 4-month-old Mini Bernadoodle weighing in at 15 pounds. I'm a shy puppy, but once I get comfortable, I love to show off my big personality, especially with the help of the other dogs in the house. I've bonded closely with my fur brother and quickly became best friends with the other dogs in my foster home. I'm building my confidence every day and getting braver all the time. I’m still a bit shy around new people, but with patience and love, I’m sure to come out of my shell even more. Squeaky toys are my absolute favorite. I also enjoy chasing a ball, though I must admit, I never quite bring it back! While I’m really close to being potty trained when on a good schedule, I’m already crate trained and feel safe and secure in my crate. I don't need a fenced yard as long as we can practice leash training and go for regular walks. If you're looking for a timid, but sweet and intelligent puppy who’s ready to learn and grow with you, I'm your girl. Let's explore the world together, one step at a time! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.  T his puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hi there! I'm Elliot, a 4-month-old Mini Bernadoodle, currently weighing 20 pounds and still growing! I'm a fluffy ball of fun with an adorable white patch on my chest and the tip of my tail. I love to play with other dogs and wrestle with my sister pup. I'm doing well with house training and usually go potty almost immediately after being brought outside. I have a great attitude about my crate and sleep quietly through the night. For a puppy, I'm fairly calm and easygoing. While I'm not fully potty trained yet, I'm really close when on a good schedule. I'm also crate trained and comfortable sleeping in my crate. I don't need a fenced yard as long as we can practice leash training and go for regular walks for my potty breaks and exercise. I'm working on my leash training and getting better every day. I know commands like "Come" and "Go Potty," and I'm good with dogs of all sizes. I only bark when the other dogs go out and I get left behind because I haven't mastered the doggie door yet. But I'm eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges. I'm super soft to pet and oh-so-fluffy! Plus, my sweet face will melt your heart. If you're looking for a loving and playful puppy who's ready to learn and grow with you, I'm the perfect match. Let's make wonderful memories together! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       My goodness!  I’m going to give a shout-out to my foster family for allowing me to find my forever family.  They’re out there and I’m hoping it’s YOU! You’d think that my being so young, that the only thing going for me is my cuteness but you’d be super wrong-o. I’m the complete package! I’m doing great potty-training on a schedule and don’t need fenced yard or another dog but I’d be ok if you have any of those too.  I spend my time snuggling, playing with small stuffed animals, chewing on sticks or playing ball and working on my leash skills.  I sleep all night long and do well with the kennel.  And as an added bonus, I’m good with little kids and dogs of all sizes too!  I save my barking skills for when something alarms me.  I’m ok for you apartment dwellers. I’m just a playful little guy who is more chill than pill.  So, if I sound like a good match for you, head over to the applications! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hi! My name is Teaberry, and I'm a 7-month-old male Standard Bernedoodle, weighing around 50 pounds. I’m a handsome and sweet little man who absolutely LOVES my people. I like to stay close and often sleep at your feet while you watch TV or work from home. I’m good with other dogs, at least the two dogs in my foster home, and I’m getting really good at walking on a leash. My puppy potty training is going great, although I might have a small accident in the late afternoon or early evening if it happens at all. I’m getting better at being in a kennel but still struggle with separation. I do bark in the crate. I don’t need a fenced yard since I walk nicely on a leash to go potty and get my exercise. I’m a work in progress when it comes to leash walking, but I’m making good strides. I like to tag along with my people when they visit a local assisted living center, and I absolutely loved being there. The residents loved me so much that they decided to call me "Buddy" when I'm there. Why? Because I am everyone’s buddy! Some of my favorite things include playing with my stuffies and drinking lots of water. I don’t necessarily need to be placed in a home with another dog, as long as my humans are home most of the time. I’m a loving, smart and wiggly pup who loves carrying my stuffies around the house and making piles with them. It's hysterical because the other dogs in my foster home don’t know what to do with that and just sit and watch me. I’m going to make someone a WONDERFUL family pet, and my foster family will miss having me in their home. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all my love, playfulness, and cuddles with you! Let’s be buddies! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills.
