Must live close in to RI This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need. We are all volunteers. ROSIE is a shihtzu/bichon. which is called a shichon! In terms of the dog world, this a a "designer dog". She is about 14 lbs, 9 months old, microchipped, fully vetted and spayed. Rosie has learned some basic commands such as sit and come but certainly could use some more basics of course. She is expected to be under 20 lbs when fully grown. She is loving and very active and playful. She’s fabulous with other dogs, kids and all people. Great on a leash, crate trained and sweet as can be. She will keep you very busy so be prepared to have lots of fun taking walks and running around the yard with her. MEETINGS ARE BEING SET UP IMMEDIATELY, SO DO NOT DELAY. OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
