Story
N*Sync is making a comeback! Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass will dance their way into hearts and homes. These boys can just look at you and make you want to melt. Born on June 8, 2024 – our boy band used to be a band of 7. They were born under a home, but the owner decided they didn’t want anything to do with them, so they refused them food and water, and 2 ended up passing of dehydration. Unfortunately, our laws just do not protect animals, so when we heard of the situation, we immediately took the puppies into our care. Mom and dad are unknown. Thanks to groceries, water, and love, they are now thriving and ready to find their forever families. They cannot get enough of being around you. When you’re walking through the house, these pups are right on your heels, following you and begging to be picked up. Despite what their previous humans did to them, they absolutely love human attention and affection. They will follow you around until you don’t allow them to any longer (when they’re back in the puppy pen). They are learning what pee pads are and are catching on quickly to go on them. These boys are very smart and with proper training and one on one care, they will learn fast. They LOVE food and are very treat motivated. You’ll notice a lot of the pictures have jerky treats in them, that seems to be their favorite! As of 8/17, these 5 boys only weigh about 5 lbs. We believe they’ll be about 35-40 lbs once full grown. Their paws are not very big. Since we do not know their parents though, we cannot guarantee size. We do believe Joey will stay smaller than the rest, with Justin being next smallest. They LOVE their toys and learning how to properly play with them. Most of the toys are bigger than them! Be aware: They may lick you to death Wiggle butts explain them perfectly, they are always on the go, always exploring and always wanting to be around humans. They LOVE the fosters dogs and have met their kitties, no issues with either. They get along great with the dogs (big and small) and all the kitties are bigger than they are and they’re more scared of the kitties than anything else. Justin, Joey, Lance, Chris and JC will thrive in all types of environments; they are the sweetest boys who will make the most cuddly, affectionate, loving, and loyal companions. If you would like to adopt this puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations (bordatella, DAPPV), current on preventions (Credelio Plus), dewormed and microchipped. A certificate of health is issued from a vet prior to transport. We are a small, struggling rescue in Texas where we do our best to prevent euthanasia in shelters and help stray and neglected animals find forever homes. Adoption fees are our only source of funding for the rescue. Unless otherwise specified at the top of the profile for this animal, this animal is considered to be located in foster care in Texas and available for transport once adopted.

Story
Approx 4.5 years old now, I adopted Hooch when he was approx 1 year old. He was a stray that was malnourished and had confidence issues. He is now much more confident, with the exception of being on hardwood floors. He now weighs approx 72 lbs and is neutered. He gets along well with other dogs, but sometimes can be chaotic and does not understand his true size and so would not recommend he be homed with smaller dogs/cat. Also seems to get along fine with children, he has been around my nieces who are younger than 7. He is a people pleaser but also requires a lot of attention and physical touch. I believe that he needs a larger space than what i currently have for him given he does not do well with hardwood floors (the only space in my apartment without hardwood is a limited area in the loft, which he isolates himself to unfortunately). His ideal home would have enough space for him with carpeted floors, and loving owners that can give him the level of attention that he needs

DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Ripley is 8yo, weighs 45lbs, is spayed, is microchipped, but is not up to date on her vaccines (guardian will update her vaccines prior to adoption).  Since the move, poor Ripley is living in the in-laws' basement and although she has a tv, is visited by in-laws occasionally, and visited by human dad after work, she's essentially alone about 20 hours per day, which is distressing to her guardians.  Ripley is good in the car, can 'sit' and 'stay', dislikes/fears fireworks, loud bang noises such as bb guns/gun shots, rain, water, and being left alone.  Ripley had a litter in the past and was wonderful with her puppies, but because of the other dog attack, she's aggressive toward larger and older dogs. Ripley's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:  Through no fault of her own, Ripley needs a new home because her guardians fell on hard times.  They had to downsize to an apartment, cannot afford the pet deposit/additional monthly pet fee and vet care.  Additionally, since there are 2 small babies in the household and Ripley often plays rough, she doesn't know her own strength and could knock over and hurt the babies.  Finally, there are many dogs in the new neighborhood and since Ripley's bite incident, she is aggressive to larger or older dogs. BITE INCIDENT:  Approximately 4 years ago, Ripley bit another dog who breached her territory and cornered her; the bite broke the skin, animal control was not involved, and the other dog was treated and is fine.  Ripley's guardian explains:   "About 4 years ago, a larger dog came into our yard and cornered Ripley.  Ripley acted in fear and self defense and bit the other dog on the mouth.  Since this occurred Ripley is very aggressive to larger or older dogs.  Other dog was treated and is perfectly fine, we paid the vet bills and there was no ill will."   Ripley's guardian offers a brief medical history:  Seasonal allergies on Ripley's paws from the grass. Ripley's guardian states the following regarding children:  Although Ripley has lived with small children, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with small children, stating: "Ripley is currently residing with my in-laws in there basement until we can find her a new home.  We have brought our two daughters, (one is 17 months and the other 2 months) to visit her and socialize but we can't have the girls on the floor with her because she doesn't understand her own strength with playing   But when we're holding the babies, she does smother them with kisses and cuddles.  She loves them, just plays too rough.  She has been around kids around 4 and older and is perfectly great and sweet with them.  But she has intense zoomies where she can barrel through them so we steer them clear of her when she's running like that.  She also loves tug a war and she gets too into it and nips playfully when biting the toy and sometimes accidentally bites your finger and it hurts wayy to bad for a small child.  Even for an adult it hurts pretty bad." Ripley's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Although Ripley has lived with dogs, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating: "She is very aggressive to other dogs, except puppies.  She has had a litter in the past and loves babies so she is good with them if introduced correctly.  We got a puppy about 3 years ago and she raised him and loved him like a baby.  But other older dogs, or other dogs outside of our home, she acts very aggressive and barks and has incredibly intense anxiety.  You better have her on a leash or a very strong grip on her because it will be bad." Ripley's guardian states the following regarding cats:   Although Ripley has lived with cats, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating: "Ripley has always been good with cats and has lived with two in the past.  But I say no to living with them because she hasn't been socialized with them in a couple years and it really depends on if the cat is okay with dogs." Ripley's guardian describes her as: Very active Barks alot Playful Friendly Fence Jumper Likes to be touched Affectionate Protective Always at your side Indoor dog Outdoor dog House-Trained Crate-Trained Likes men Likes women Separation anxiety Ripley's guardian describes her ideal future home:  "Fenced-in yard, experienced owner, no pets or small children. Story
Joe is a stunning 8 year old black mouth cur mix that is ready to find his forever family❤️ Sweet Joe has a strong desire to be near his people, always. He’s a cuddle bug and loves being where his family is! He is good at being a companion dog, he plays well with puppies & is a protector of his people! He will bark when strangers come to the door but once he knows they’re cool, he will be their new best friend🐾 This handsome boy can be an adventure pup or a couch potato. He loves to go for hikes and runs, but he is also happy cuddling up on a couch with his humans! He likes other dogs, but prefers pup friends with laid-back personalities so he can be the “big dog in the house,” or he would be okay as an only dog! 🐶 Joe has a strong case of FOMO, so he always wants to know what you are doing and where you are going. He likes to follow his people around the house and get into the things they are getting into. He really just wants to be near his humans & doing whatever they’re doing.❤️ Joe needs an adult-only household, or one with older children. Poor buddy is scared of little kids and deserves a home where he doesn’t have to be separated from little ones, and can roam his home as he pleases. He is kennel trained, but doesn’t need to be kept in one because he isn’t destructive & he is house trained! Joe is a good boy that deserves a soft place to land after his family dynamic has changed. If you have an older, established household, please consider adding Joe to your family!🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate.
