Ms. Maxine is here and ready to shine! With a million dollar smile plastered on her face at all times this momma is looking for a family to finally call her own! Maxine is a great dog with a wonderful personality and temperament. On top of this she gave birth and raised a whole litter of puppies, talk about a saint! Maxine is athletic and young at soul girl. She would love a happy, outgoing, fun loving family!! Maxine loves playing games and snuggling up, you'll rarely find a moment that she isn't cuddled up to you looking for scratches or some pats on the head. She is a sweet and very smart girl, loves loves to hang with her doggy friends and would nair leave a beautiful blue/grey hair on your "fur"niture!! Just kidding, I do shed but my fur is a real cool glitter color!! Some basic information about Maxine; she is female, Blue Lacy/Lab mix, and is large sized girl. Part of this beautiful girl's adoption fee has been sponsored! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hi! I'm Gillis. From his foster: Gillis is an extremely sweet boy who loves to snuggle! Once he feels secure, you'll see his true, affectionate personality shine through and will want to be with you all the time. He has come leaps and bounds with socialization! Athletic and agile, Gillis has plenty of energy to burn and loves playing fetch with balls and frisbees. He loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. He needs a lot of exercise to be content and happy. He'd make an excellent running partner for active individuals! He gets along great with the resident pup and kitty. Gillis is potty trained and does well in his kennel and will go right in when you ask. He's very smart and knows his name and many commands: sit, stay, heal, kennel, shake, roll over, and leave it. He's very docile when you earn his trust, allowing you to check his teeth or handle his paws. He has a reoccurring issue with a split nail but it's healing nicely and should be back to 100% very soon. Are you ready to welcome this sweet boy into your heart and home?

Story
Hi! My name is Ozzy and I am from Texas. From his foster: He loves taking naps, going for car rides, walks, or just hanging out with his humans. He is doing very well with potty training and crate training. From the vet team: After coming into rescue, it was discovered that I had a serious heart murmur. An echocardiogram with the University of Minnesota Cardiology determined that the cause of my murmur was 2 heart defects. PDA (Patent ductus arteriosus - a defect that causes the ductus arteriosus to not close properly at birth) and pulmonic stenosis (a narrowing of the pulmonic valve). I had heart surgery where a device was placed in my artery to close the hole caused by the PDA defect. I have a recheck echocardiogram in February to determine if a balloon valvuloplasty surgery is necessary. While I am still a puppy my family will want to keep a close eye on me and give me lots of breaks if my heart ever becomes too rapid or labored. Should I ever experience irregular respiration, extreme lethargy or fluid buildup in my abdomen this may require emergency care. TBB will agree to cover my recheck along with the balloon valvuloplasty surgery if recommended at that 3 month recheck scheduled in Feb 2025. Because of these heart conditions they also advised that any elective surgeries such as a neuter be delayed until after that recheck. TBB will agree to cover my neuter procedure if completed at TBB or an approved veterinary partner.
