Hello friends! My name is Orwell, and I'm a 1-year-old handsome boy who's here to steal your heart! 🐾 You just have to meet me in person because describing my coloring just won't do me justice. I have what you might call "tiger brindling" (I'm not sure if that's a real thing, but it sounds cool, right?) - think white, grey, orange, brown, and black... basically, I'm like a walking, wagging work of art. 🎨 You might need a DNA test to figure out what I'm made of, but whatever I am, I'm the best kind of mix - loyal, loving, and full of energy.I'm the kind of dog who's up for anything. Need a hiking buddy? I'm there! Want to go camping? I'm packed and ready to go! I'll be your loyal companion for all of life's adventures, always by your side, tail wagging, ready for whatever comes our way. Whether it's a quick stroll in the park or a weekend getaway, you'll find me right there with you.So, if you're looking for a fun, loyal, and handsome fella to share your life with, look no further. I promise to be your best friend forever - and I'll make every day brighter with my playful energy and loving heart. 🐕💖Can't wait to meet you!Orwell Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 30 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Hi there. My name is ORIO (Oreo) and here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Border Collie / Labrador mixAge: 3-1/2 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 38 lbsHeight: tbd Highlights: calm, cuddler, loyal, clever Left in the freezing cold in Lebanon to fend for themselves at a young age, I was found on the streets roaming around and looking for food in the garbage. Me and my best friend Ollio were constantly harassed by passerbys. We were threatened with being shot, if not removed. Thankfully, a rescuer came through for us. I was pregnant when found and since had 4 adorable puppies (they will be up for adoption later.) I was transferred to a boarding shelter until a home was found.  I certainly enjoy snuggling, a real cuddle bug they call me.My foster says I am great in the house, calm outside and don't bark a lot. I enjoy the great outdoors. So much so, that it would be best to go to a home with some decent sized property for me to run around."Very sweet & very loving" is how my foster describes me. My foster has worked with me to get me to stop pulling on a leash. Now, I'm a pro walker. I am also great in the house.I have no aggressions at all and will wait to eat til told ok. I get along fine with other dogs. Not sure cats would be a good match nor chickens, as at times I have dug holes to try to escape from the acreage to get to the chickens next door... chicken al fresco. So, best without the temptation around. You will not find any behavioral issues with me (other than chickens), so should be fine with older kids. You'll see I am bright-eyed and happy. Very loyal and clever too. Bet you could teach me tricks.I really need to find a home with my buddy, Olivia (also posted), as we are quite bonded with one another. Energy Level: moderate I get along with:Dogs: yesCats:  noKids: no Prey drive: fairly high. My adopter needs to be willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. Fears: none observed. Training: house and leashLeash skills: yes Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I am spayed/neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. The adoption fee for me and my buddy Olivia together is a whopper deal at $800. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1374363##

My name is HACHIKKI (Chikki) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Border Collie/Jack Russell/Beagle mixAge: 3 months (jan 1ish)Gender: femaleWeight: 15 lbsHeight: 7 inchesCountry of origin: IndiaHighlight(s): friendly, loving, playful, confident. If you are looking for an ambassador for your home, then that is me. I'm a friendly girl, who will meet everyone with a smile.Rescued along with our five siblings from a sewage drain where we would have surely died by drowning in overflowing filthy rain water, we were barely a month old so couldn't protect ourselves. Since being rescued from that hell hole, many of my siblings have found amazing adoptive homes. Now it is my turn. And my sister Jalebi's too, also posted.I am social and do well with both dogs and cats, as I am living with them currently in a foster home. Being a young pup, I am still exploring & have gained confidence about my surroundings, after even the first few outings past my initial vaccinations.Typical puppy, I am playful and loving too. Also, good riding in the car.I could probably adjust to most any household, as I am young yet and capable of learning new things quickly. I'll likely get to be a medium sized dog, roughly from 37-50 lbs. I sleep on a bed inside my play pen area with my sister. I've been started with leash training and walk nicely. I also know a few regular commands like sit & shake hand, that I do even on walks and around distractions. Pretty nifty for a youngster, eh? Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: unknown Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: basicsLeash skills: some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes, pee pad trained. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I am too young yet to be spayed/neutered, but I am vaccinated and microchipped. Spay/neuter will be the responsibility of the adopter and is required for my adoption to be finalized. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2345456##

Story
Meet Mr Cupid! He is a border collie mixed breed who is neutered and vaccinated. Cupids situation has been declining socially as his current owner is not able to care for him any longer for a number of circumstances and has recently surrendered him to our rescue organization. Cupid loves running and going for runs with his owner. He loves his 'treats' and being a border collie mix, he will pretty much do cartwheels for you if the training is right! He is generally okay with other dogs but he does seem to be more guarded now with them, this could be due to his current lack of socialization and him not being out and meeting other dogs for quite a while now. He does seem to be okay with cats but also something that should be watched at first to make sure. He is a strong active player and runner and is not recommended for homes with children and seniors. It is recommended that he goes to a home that has a good yard for him to be out and run off some of his energy. Cupid also has developed resource guarding behaviour with his food and will growl and attempt to bite if people are too close to him while he's eating, around food or with things in his mouth. This is an issue that is important to address and that can be rehabilitated with proper and strong owner/dog training and guidance. Cupid is a type of breed that possesses high intelligence and is brilliantly quick to learn anything with the right owner and become the perfect dog. If you feel you could give Cupid a great home please contact us, we would love to hear from you!

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Rown🖤 Rown was found on the street. He had swallowed stones and screws due to hunger, requiring emergency surgery. He also had an injury on his leg from his difficult life on the streets, but after surgery, he’s now in recovery. * With People: Loves people so much! Despite having a hard time in the past with accidents and struggles, he is endlessly affectionate and loves being around people. * With Dogs: Is full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. Is very playful and always approaches first to initiate play. * With Cats: Is curious and always watches them when they pass by. * Separation Anxiety: Currently resides with other dogs at the Center, so it’s hard to determine. Shows mild signs of separation anxiety when alone. * Potty Training: Is well-trained to go potty both indoors and outdoors. * Hygiene: Is still getting used to baths. Resists at first but cooperates well once he’s in the bath. Is also good with drying, brushing, and nail trimming. * Walks: Loves walks so much that he sometimes pulls on the leash when he gets excited. But it’s not severe and can be managed easily. * Car Sickness: Rides well without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * Has mastered several commands such as “sit” and “paw” about 80% of the time. * His right foreleg is chafed whenever he walks. A shoe is a must when he goes out for a walk. ❗Health Condition ❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and ankle surgery completed. * His right foreleg has been unfolded and stiffened after the ankle surgery. Has no issue in a daily life.
