HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Say hello to the one and only Minerva! This lively 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix is all set for the grand adventures of the good life. Minerva has made friends with other dogs and loves playing and romping around the yard. She loves playing tug and chewing on bones and soft toys. Minerva sleeps through the night in her crate, although she would be more than happy to cuddle in bed with you all night long. When given the chance, she has made a great sleepy buddy. Car rides are her jam and she makes a terrific passenger. If she had her way, she would go on all the car rides! Minerva likes a nice quiet house as she’s more on the shy side. She loves to hang out near you during the day while you work from home or keep you company while you sit and relax. A dog friend in the house makes her braver and she loves a four-legged wrestling partner. But she could be happy just being around her special person as well. She’s always ready for a walk and does well on a leash. She is very interested in tracking field mice and lizards during walks and her special skill is to jump in the air like a fox to pounce on a field mouse. Minerva knows sit, lay, paw and to wait to be released for her food. She is treat motivated and ready to learn new skills. As Minerva's trust in her foster family deepens, so does her affectionate side, overflowing with attention and love. She needs a little time to develop this trust and then she will reward you deeply. Minerva is calm, well behaved, and house trained. Equipped with up-to-date vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, Minerva is ready to leap into your heart. Seal the deal by submitting your application today and prepare to welcome the newest member of your family! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1945370##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQURED! Hi there! My name is Higgins, and I'm all about giving kisses and tail wags! I’ve met a lot of people, but I’m ready to find my best bud. Small yet mighty, I guarantee we’ll have a ball together! I sleep quietly in my crate, and I just know you're going to think I’m great. I’m your guy, and when you meet me, you’ll see why! I’m relatively low energy for a pup, except for my occasional zoomies. I love toys and snuggles. I’m completely crate trained and will let you know I need to go potty by standing by the door. I'm a quick learner and one of the smartest puppies around. I've even met a cat and did great! I’m a 4-month-old Border Collie mix and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'd love to meet you and show off my tail wags! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming   ##2050141##

Story
Rosemary is a playful, sweet, affectionate girl excited to find her forever home! This 3-year-old, 40-pound border collie mix is the perfect size to join you for adventures, snuggles, and a snack or seven. Rosie loves playtime and long walks as much as she loves cuddles on the couch and naps under your desk. Whatever her people are doing, Rosemary wants to be part of it! Rosemary is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps through the night. She is a smart and food-motivated girl who has mastered many key commands and walks well on leash (as long as she gets some breaks to smell the neighborhood happenings!). She loves other dogs and would do well either alone or with doggie siblings who are on the submissive side. When meeting new people, Rosemary prefers that everyone minds their manners and says hello before entering her home. But with a few minutes of patience and some treats, Rosemary is happy to receive pets, and soon enough, she will stick to you like glue and offer lots of kisses! Winning her trust is so rewarding because Rosemary is the most affectionate and loyal girl to her people.  Rosemary is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, heartworm-negative, and already waiting at the door for you to come take her on her next adventure! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1815459##

Story
Dexter has always been my personal favorite of the litter, but he is a bit naughty. I kind of like his mischievous ways, but I have a strong personality. Dexter is dominate enough that he might not be for everyone. He doesn’t like to be confined to a crate, so he won’t always come when called to be put in the crate sometimes. He will go into the crate if you put him in front of it, but he tends to whine periodically for a while because he wants out. Like his brother, Dexter is not aggressive with my cats. I have the same fear that Dexture might try to play a bit too rough with a more interesting cat. He gets along fine with other dogs, but he loves people. He tries to follow his people around 24/7. He loves to cuddle. He loves to play in our swimming pool. He especially likes to splash around if he finds a toy that floats. He will even lay down in our pool which is approximately 6 inches deep. Unfortunately, he tends to want to cuddle afterwards when he is soaking wet. His fur dries pretty fast though. He will usually only be damp after 5 minutes. I would love to keep him and teach him to kayak with me. I think he would love it and be a great size for it. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event.   *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1940386##

Story
Jax is a fun energetic boy! He is 8 years young and loves to be active. He’ll be a great match for you if you enjoy walking, running, hiking, camping and taking him on adventures. He is great at fetch, the best hiking buddy and LOVES all things play, praise & attention. Jax is an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. He must have a home with people who activity and exercise. Jax was attacked at a dog park when he was about 2 years old. He was protecting me from a large dog that came after me (his owner). He does ok with smaller dogs (depending on their attitude) but he does not do well with dog his size or larger. This may change with a new owner? But he is very protective of his family. Jax has a high prey-drive so we often keep him on leash or on a lead when camping and hiking, because he LOVES to chase rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and deer. Jax is very afraid of thunder and drones, and is not familiar with being around large bodies of water - these things make him bark.
