Story
Topaz is one of the smallest and quietest puppies in her clan and would rather cuddle than rough house with her brothers. She is certainly playful but her jam is really more about her people and she loves to be held. You will be hard pressed to find a cuter puppy than Topaz! She is so little and can be a little shy but once you pick her up she settles into your chest and is so content. You can't help but smile when you're in her presence. This little nugget is a Border Collie mix - Mom was a Border Collie and dad was mostly Border Collie. Make sure you research the breed and know the breed characterisitcs. They are known for their keen intellience and high energy. Mom was around 40 lbs. So far at ~8 weeks old, Travis is very small - maybe 8 lbs. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $375 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2139711##

Story
Meet Kai! Currently in Durango. Kai is a total sweetheart! He is a cuddlebug and prefers the couch and plushy beds to being outside (though he loves to hang in pools during the summer LOL) He likes to act like he's an athlete going for good walks and enjoying agility club but in reality his legs get sore from time to time and he needs to be monitored so he doesn't go to hard on them. He has had an acl repair. We had xrays taken this year and his legs are okay but as with any major injury, he'll feel it as he gets older.  Kai has become my building buddy, hanging with us as we do construction on our new training room. He ignores the loud tools and just curls up happy to be hanging inside with us :) Easy on a leash, great walking even with another dog, needs a sweater! :)   ##562396##

Story
Dexter has always been my personal favorite of the litter, but he is a bit naughty. I kind of like his mischievous ways, but I have a strong personality. Dexter is dominate enough that he might not be for everyone. He doesn’t like to be confined to a crate, so he won’t always come when called to be put in the crate sometimes. He will go into the crate if you put him in front of it, but he tends to whine periodically for a while because he wants out. Like his brother, Dexter is not aggressive with my cats. I have the same fear that Dexture might try to play a bit too rough with a more interesting cat. He gets along fine with other dogs, but he loves people. He tries to follow his people around 24/7. He loves to cuddle. He loves to play in our swimming pool. He especially likes to splash around if he finds a toy that floats. He will even lay down in our pool which is approximately 6 inches deep. Unfortunately, he tends to want to cuddle afterwards when he is soaking wet. His fur dries pretty fast though. He will usually only be damp after 5 minutes. I would love to keep him and teach him to kayak with me. I think he would love it and be a great size for it. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event.   *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1940386##

Story
What Darwin's foster has to say: Darwin is the absolute sweetest boy. He loves everyone. That includes people and other dogs. A staff member said he was shy at adoption events, but he is not shy at home. He loves to play. With dogs he wrestles and chases them all over the yard. With people he likes to chase balls that are thrown. He is still working on bringing the ball back. Darwin is a great cuddler. He loves to cuddle for a good nap and some affection. He also loves finding a comfortable place to lie near one of his people or pack mates. What Darwin loves more than anything though is to have his belly rubbed. He tends to roll over on his back and stick his chest out to encourage belly rubs when you walk by. I must admit I usually indulge him in at least a few pets because he is so cute with his request. Darwin is not aggressive with my cats, but my cats are old and uninteresting. He tends to play rough with his brother and my fear is Darwin might try to play a bit too rough with a more interesting cat. Darwin is great about going into his crate. Sometimes he even anticipates us and goes in without us telling him. He is so well behaved.   Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Story
Finn is the smartest, sweetest, most sensitive and cuddliest dog who only wants to please his people. He attaches quickly and bonds deeply. He is also a herding dog through and through (his DNA test results say 75% of mostly australian shepherd, australian cattle dog, and border collie) with all the things that comes with the herding breeds. He is a quick study and needs a job. His herding nature has made him highly sensitive and suspicious of new things and loud noises. Finn is very trainable due to his intelligence and eagerness to please his people. Though he will never get into things he’s not supposed to or pee or poop inside the house or run away from you, he will lick your leg incessantly, chew a bone or ball on top of you, and make sure the entire neighborhood knows someone is walking by the house. Finn loves dogs who will play hard and long with him, and can be quite bossy about it (especially with submissive dogs). Finn loves people too, though tiny humans confuse and scare him and humans on roller skates, skateboards, dancing, skis, or otherwise moving “incorrectly” in his herding brain are to be chased and herded. Finn isn't a fan of cats so not kitties in his home. He also hardly sheds and has a short coat.  At 60 lbs with lanky legs and a muscular build, Finn is a dog made for herding and running cattle. A simple walk or two a day (or even hike) will not suffice. He needs brain work every single day. Finn is 2 and a half years old now and will likely not slow down until old age. His first people tried very hard to give him what he needs, but realized their suburban home was just not the right place for him, even with hikes and off-leash romps in open space. He needs wide open spaces and a way to use his brain and body continuously. He knows how to herd intuitively, and just needs someone to give him the opportunity with a real herd and some training with directions to be his best self. With the right environment, Finn would be an amazing work dog alongside you on a farm by day and cuddle up with you (and any other pups or humans in your life) next to a fire by night. Tired and content, he will flourish and be the best boy he’s always strived to be. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $75 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer. Adopters will be eligible to activate a 30 day free pet insurance policy from Trupanion if they adopt. Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1117980##

Brownie here to dazzle you with my puppy cuteness!  Of course, I'm much more than just my adorable appearance. I'm eager to learn and relying on you to show me the ropes and socialize me. I have a wonderful disposition and and I have known nothing but love and devotion. I'm looking for a family who wants to include me in some of their activies and are willing to provide the structure and guidance I need to thrive. Being from the herding breeds, I am intelligent, a quick learner and athletic. I will need daily activity, a fenced yard and some mental engagement (like learning how to sit, stay, come, and do tricks). I'm about 3-3.5 months old and 15 to 20 lbs. I will likely be a medium size dog as an adult. Training is a wonderful opportunity to build a lasting bond of mutual respect and understanding with your new companion. Even basic puppy socialization classes are exremely beneficial!! The reward is big and you will save a life and have a faithful companion furever!   If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2140509##
