Story
Brownie here to dazzle you with my puppy cuteness!  Of course, I'm much more than just my adorable appearance. I'm eager to learn and relying on you to show me the ropes and socialize me. I have a wonderful disposition and and I have known nothing but love and devotion. I'm looking for a family who wants to include me in some of their activies and are willing to provide the structure and guidance I need to thrive. Being from the herding breeds, I am intelligent, a quick learner and athletic. I will need daily activity, a fenced yard and some mental engagement (like learning how to sit, stay, come, and do tricks). I'm about 3-3.5 months old and 15 to 20 lbs. I will likely be a medium size dog as an adult. Training is a wonderful opportunity to build a lasting bond of mutual respect and understanding with your new companion. Even basic puppy socialization classes are exremely beneficial!! The reward is big and you will save a life and have a faithful companion furever!   If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2140509##

Story
Fleetwood came with some baggage (he was found roaming around the high desert), but that's getting unpacked one duffel bag at a time. He's no longer shy. He actually loves the attention from his human friends at the neighborhood park. With other dogs, he still has a "herding" instinct. While he comes on a little strong, after a proper introduction, he's always friendly and loves to be part of the pack. Out on the trail is his favorite place to be... and the exercise is good for both mind and body. He was a little heavy, but now he's down to about 72 pounds and is starting to show a visible waistline. Still acclimating to this civilization stuff, he responds well to his leash training and is learning to love city life.

Story
Macks is a beautiful and kind cattle dog/shepherd mix who was surrendered to a high kill shelter as a result of her owner passing away. She is a great indoor dog, she is well mannered and house trained. She is very protective of her home and knows whether the person at the door is someone she knows or a stranger. She is very alert to sounds and will investigate. She likes to be near to people and will follow you from room to room to be close. She likes to play with her toys and play tug of war. She can be shy when first meeting new people at first, but when she's warmed up, she is a very affectionate girl. She needs a loving and patient adopter who can give her the time and love that she needs to feel welcome in her new home.

Story
Sonnet aka Nettie (Nettie Spaghetti) is a sweet, energetic, smart, and charismatic blue heeler mix. She loves people and gets comfortable with them quickly, is the perfect walking buddy, and is super receptive to learning new commands. She is about 40lbs, fully potty trained and crate trained, sometimes she hangs out in her crate during the day as well! Nettie is extremely intelligent and picks up on training super quickly and would do well with someone who is willing to continue working with her and is very active, she loves to walk, run, and hike. She would do best with someone who works from home as she can get bored quickly. She does fine out of her crate while her foster is gone, but after she get the appropriate exercise. She is also a pro at using the doggie door! Nettie likes to play with her toys in the yard, and would not do well in an apartment. She is still getting comfortable with other dogs and has been working with a trainer. She loves to play with other dogs but can get quite energetic and is still learning that not all dogs want to play. She is not aggressive with dogs, just very excited! She has made incredible progress over the past few months. She has had play dates with calmer dogs and has done really well, but is still unsure about meeting new dogs on leash. It would be wonderful for her to be with someone who can keep that momentum going! She has a ton of love to give and would be the perfect forever family! ##1711495##

Story
This darling young man is Traviso! He is sweet, gentle and has a heart of gold. While Traviso has a big heart, he can be a bit timid around new things, including leashes. He’ll need a patient owner willing to work with him at his own pace to help him overcome this fear. He have started to make some progress here but he needs a little more confidence. With time, love, and gentle guidance, Traviso will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. He loves human attention and belly rubs once he`s comfortable! He also seems to like other dogs and may even benefit from a confident resident dog who can show him the ropes! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Bella is a 9 month old little gal who is the sweetest snuggler and will follow you around everywhere! Supposedly her mom was a 100# Great pyrenees but the vet says that she is now fully grown and will not be getting any bigger at 35 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.  She has never had any health problems.   Bella is the most loving little girl in the entire world.  She loves to play with her toys and chew on bones.  She’s never had a problem with chewing on furniture or shoes.   She currently has 1 dog brother and 1 cat sister.  She loves them both so much.  She also loves to play with other dogs and cats that aren’t her siblings.   She loves cuddles and sitting on the couch getting belly rubs.  Belly rubs are her favorite thing in the world.   Bella is crate-trained, leash-trained, and housebroken.  She does know common commands, such as her name, come, kennel, and sit, and she’s learning how to shake. She does have a normal amount of energy as any pup does, but would rather sit with you and get rubs than play 9 times out of 10. Bella gets along great with young children, all the way up to the older generations.  She loves everyone that she comes into contact with, whether it be while on a walk, or with friends and family coming over to visit.  She just wants everyone to pet her, and once you do, you are instantly her best friend.   I am sure she would love a home where she can have a sibling in, as she loves to play with other pups, or at least go to a dog park where she can play with others a few times out of the week. She would be great for a single person or couple who is looking to add a beautiful little girl to their family. ##2110592##

Story
Finn is the smartest, sweetest, most sensitive and cuddliest dog who only wants to please his people. He attaches quickly and bonds deeply. He is also a herding dog through and through (his DNA test results say 75% of mostly australian shepherd, australian cattle dog, and border collie) with all the things that comes with the herding breeds. He is a quick study and needs a job. His herding nature has made him highly sensitive and suspicious of new things and loud noises. Finn is very trainable due to his intelligence and eagerness to please his people. Though he will never get into things he’s not supposed to or pee or poop inside the house or run away from you, he will lick your leg incessantly, chew a bone or ball on top of you, and make sure the entire neighborhood knows someone is walking by the house. Finn loves dogs who will play hard and long with him, and can be quite bossy about it (especially with submissive dogs). Finn loves people too, though tiny humans confuse and scare him and humans on roller skates, skateboards, dancing, skis, or otherwise moving “incorrectly” in his herding brain are to be chased and herded. Finn isn't a fan of cats so not kitties in his home. He also hardly sheds and has a short coat.  At 60 lbs with lanky legs and a muscular build, Finn is a dog made for herding and running cattle. A simple walk or two a day (or even hike) will not suffice. He needs brain work every single day. Finn is 2 and a half years old now and will likely not slow down until old age. His first people tried very hard to give him what he needs, but realized their suburban home was just not the right place for him, even with hikes and off-leash romps in open space. He needs wide open spaces and a way to use his brain and body continuously. He knows how to herd intuitively, and just needs someone to give him the opportunity with a real herd and some training with directions to be his best self. With the right environment, Finn would be an amazing work dog alongside you on a farm by day and cuddle up with you (and any other pups or humans in your life) next to a fire by night. Tired and content, he will flourish and be the best boy he’s always strived to be. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $75 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer. Adopters will be eligible to activate a 30 day free pet insurance policy from Trupanion if they adopt. Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1117980##
