Lady, cattledog mix, 3 yo, 46 lb, spayed femaleLady is thin long-legged cattledog mix with the cutest face and floppy ears. She is curious and fascinated by all kinds of things. Lady spent months and months in limbo in boarding and was happy to join our gang and have a choice of playmates.  She is young and active, and needs a fenced yard.  Lady finds it most comforting to lie down close to you especially if she can somehow lean into you. It is hard to understand how this gentle angel, still almost a puppy, could be abandoned. We so hope to find stable loving home for her. Adoption fee $325. Rusty is looking for a home to call his own. Once he knows you, he loves to get pets and does not mind cuddles. Rusty is fully crate-trained and potty-trained in his foster home. Rusty does well walking on a leash. He knows sit, down roll-over, and is working on other basic commands with his foster mom!  He is so treat-motivated he is easy to work with! Rusty would love a playmate to run around and play with who is respectful and will give him time to warm up to them (he can be new doggie shy for a few minutes.) Rusty’s ideal home would have a fenced backyard where he can sunbathe and run around with his new friends. Please consider welcoming this boy into your family! His adoption fee is $375 Put in an application at eapl.comAugust 19, 2024, 7:58 pm

Story
Tootsie is an introverted queen, she is selective about the people that she truly relaxes around - but once you're in, you're in. You'll know when this happens when she starts cuddling up next to you on the couch as you watch your favorite show. She can be nervous, especially with trying new things, so being patient and working to build up her confidence is a must! When she's comfortable with someone, she is down to chill in the grass, go for a walk, play with her toys (or friends), or take naps on the couch.Tootsie is fully potty trained and is good with going into her crate. This could be overnight, when you're out running errands, or if you need a moment to vacuum the carpet and just need some space. She does really well with scent work and LOVES playing hide and seek with her treats. Also, don't worry about breaking down your Amazon boxes - Tootsie will do this for you. Cardboard boxes have quickly become a favorite "toy" of hers.Tootsie would do well either as a solo dog with the opportunity to socialize frequently, or as a nice addition to an established pack! ##1981525##

Story
Kira is looking for a patient, loving, and calm home.  When Kira has warmed up she is a sweet gal with the brains to match! She is learning life outside the shelter and with the help of her dog pals and foster mom she is growing more confident every day.  Kira's forever home must have another confident and hopefully playful dog to show her the ropes! She really does best when there's another dog to follow and takes her lead from them.  She's a good eater and is food motivated. She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and once bonded with the human she likes to lay next to you and will give you the cutest puppy eyes. She entertains herself with her toys and has not shown a mischievous side yet. She sleeps and eats in her crate well and goes in there willingly throughout the day to rest if she wants.  She is 99.9% potty trained and with consistency she is perfect! Leash walking is going well as long as there is another dog there.  She would love if her forever person/people wanted to do training with her to keep building her confidence!   Kira really is such a sweet dog with a calm presence and I know the right home for her is out there!  Please apply if you're interested in meeting Kira!  ##2090385##

Story
Hi there! I'm Blossom, a lively and petite 3-month-old pup with lots of energy to share. I absolutely love meeting new people, especially kids, and I'm always ready for a friendly pet or cuddle. I'm still mastering potty training, but I'm a quick learner, especially with frequent breaks. I enjoy spending time in my crate, especially with a chew toy to keep me busy. If I get bored, I might whine a bit, but it doesn't last long. I'm still getting used to other dogs and cats. My foster family includes two older dogs (ages 10 and 16) and a cat named Jack. I generally enjoy their company, but sometimes I get a bit feisty with toys or when they get attention. Luckily, my foster parent is great at helping me learn good behavior. I'm looking forward to finding my forever home where I can have a best friend to play and roll around with. Could that be you? ##2123228##

Story
Meet Maeve aka Peanut, the sweetest little dog around!  This lovely little lady will melt your heart and has a wonderful personality all her own. She’s a big cuddle bug and is the perfect little couch companion. Any place with pillows and blankets she’ll find herself right at home, even in her crate where she does great regardless of whether her foster mom is home or away. She may seem a little bit shy at first when meeting new people but it doesn’t take too long for her to warm up to people and soon be showering them with kisses.  Maeve also does okay with other dogs. She can be a bit unsure of larger dogs at first, and might try to convince others she can stand her own with a bark or two, but once she’s been properly introduced to her new canine friend she does much better and gets along with her dog companions. She’s also still getting used to consistently using the bathroom outside and on a normal schedule, but seems to be getting better and better every day with it; high hopes she’ll be 100% potty trained real soon! Maeve may not be the youngest pup around but she’s still got plenty of young energy to keep life fun with a couple daily play sessions. Her favorite is rolling around on the patch of fake grass outside her current home, what her foster mom refers to as the “turf zoomies”. Maeve is such a sweet and loving girl who has so so much love to give and would be an amazing addition to any home! ##2123198##
