Story
This dog is so very loved, but he bit the baby. Twice. My husband is not allowing a 3rd strike. Al is around 7, still very active and healthy. Al was a rescue. I got him when he was (they think) a little over a year old. He had obviously been mistreated, but i gave him the best life I could. He went everywhere with me - mountain, biking, skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, etc. He has always been finicky with other people, and other dogs. He does well with older female dogs, And does OK with other dogs if it is in passing. He is very defensive of his food, and there is definitely some leash aggression. He is alpha and not always predictable about it. He has some separation anxiety and will get into garbage if left alone. He barks at people going by on the road. He does pretty well with a bark collar, and a shock collar. He has been my adventure buddy until the baby came along. I think he could be the perfect dog for someone, but a very particular someone.

Story
Meet Otto Hightower, a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a unique blend of shyness and high energy. Initially reserved, Otto takes a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he does, his true, lively nature shines through. He becomes a busy and active companion, always eager for adventure and play. Otto would thrive in a home that understands his need for patience during his adjustment period and can provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He is best suited for a home with kids who are at least 10. He`s met a couple dogs and is a assertive and pushy, and may be choosy about his canine friends. With the right family, Otto is sure to become an energetic and devoted friend. What I Need In a Home:* Kids 10+ mandatory
