Story
Hello - my name is Frankie! I'm from Texas and guessed to be a 2 yr old Lab / Cattle Dog mix and around 68 lbs. I am a handsome pup with lots of energy, hoping to find my furever home in Colorado! I love to run and play ball and would do best with a big fenced yard and an outgoing family willing to spend time training with me and include me on adventures. I'm confident, kinda selective about my dog-friends (does best with submissive females), and also a quick learner - especially if you have hot dogs. Sure would be great if you could come by Windsor and meet me!

Story
Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play, and they wouldn’t get this freedom if they came with us.

Story
My name is Brandy! I'm a 1-2 year old Blue Heeler and German Shorthaired Pointer mix. I weigh around 40lbs and have energy for days. I am quite the talker and my herding genes come out when I play. My fosters think I could be a fantastic working or farm dog or hunting partner with some training, however, I would also fit right in with an energetic family. My fosters don't know my story but the Pet Association in Estes Park saved me from a high-kill shelter in Kansas. I love soft toys but will rip them apart if given the opportunity and I do fantastic with all dogs. Come meet me!

Story
Hello! I am Ash! I am a sweet loving boy looking for my new home! I have a history of liking calm female dogs but being afraid of pushy or male dogs so I would love to meet any dogs in the home at the shelter before being adopted. I will need a home without any cats or small mammals and may do best in a home without little dogs. I have a good history with children but might accidentally knock over little ones and would benefit from training. I have a sweet, goofy, playful personality and would love a home that enjoys playing fetch and going on long walks. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Hi, I am Bella. My sister Maya and I are looking for a home that we can go to together. We are very loving, cuddly and playful. We were outdoor dogs in our previous home so we might need some help acclimating to a fully indoor lifestyle. My sister Maya is afraid of other dogs and likes to hunt small animals like rabbits so we need a home as your only pets. We would love to meet you and become a part of your family.

We got Chaco in 2020, before my wife and I had kids and I started to travel for work. He is very sweet and good with the kids, but we don’t have time to exercise him as we should. We will be incredibly sad to see him go, but it’s the right thing for him and us.
