Story
Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play, and they wouldn’t get this freedom if they came with us.

Story
Hello - my name is Frankie! I'm from Texas and guessed to be a 2 yr old Lab / Cattle Dog mix and around 68 lbs. I am a handsome pup with lots of energy, hoping to find my furever home in Colorado! I love to run and play ball and would do best with a big fenced yard and an outgoing family willing to spend time training with me and include me on adventures. I'm confident, kinda selective about my dog-friends (does best with submissive females), and also a quick learner - especially if you have hot dogs. Sure would be great if you could come by Windsor and meet me!

Story
The Brush gang arrived at the Rescue from Brush, CO.  Animal Control had them for some time and could not find their furever families, so they asked for help.  They are a sweet, friendly group of Austrailian Cattledog, Lab and pittbull.   They are a very energetic and happy group that can jump high, so a high fence with a large yard or property will be needed for these pups.   Brush pink flowers is an almost 2 year old and looks mostly Cattledog with her spots, she is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.  She is kennel trained but has not spent time in the house, she has her own kennel at night but shares her yard with her brother. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com   If you have any questions or to meet me, please call (720) 588-6809. ##1788564##

Story
Meet Dunbar, also known as Koda Bear—a young, intelligent mix of Lab and Cattle Dog with so much love to give! Dunbar is a sweet, loyal pup who is looking for the perfect family to help him grow into the amazing dog we know he can be.Dunbar thrives in a home that can provide a steady routine, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement. He needs a patient and committed family willing to set boundaries and reward his progress as he builds confidence. Like many young dogs, Dunbar is still learning and refining his manners, but with consistent training, he has the potential to flourish.Although Dunbar can be wary of new people and new dogs at first, he warms up with time and patience. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he reveals his true self: a snuggly, affectionate companion who loves to play. Dunbar enjoys the company of dogs his size and is currently thriving in his foster home with two other medium-sized dogs. He loves playtime and lounging on the couch with his foster siblings but prefers a home without cats or small dogs.Dunbar is a smart, potty-trained pup who is kennel-trained and adores his toys. He would do best in a home where he can be let out of the kennel before interacting with other dogs. With proper introductions and a loving environment, Dunbar will reward his new family with endless loyalty and cuddles. If you are patient, dedicated, and ready to help Dunbar grow into his best self, you will gain the most incredible best friend. He is ready to find a home where he can feel secure and loved. Could that be yours? Apply to adopt Dunbar today!

Story
Trishula is a 1 year old old shepherd/cattle dog mix, appx 45 pounds. He is a wonderful dog with a sweet and gentle nature. Though he may take a little time to warm up, once he feels safe, his kind personality shines through. He is treat motivated (especially with the right treats!) and a quick learner who already knows many commands. With patience and consistency, Trishula is sure to learn even more commands and build confidence in new situations. On walks, Trishula does very well on a leash and does not pull. He is still learning how to avoid getting tangled in legs but is making great progress. Car rides are another strong point for Trishula, as he settles in nicely and enjoys the ride.At first, Trishula can be shy with strangers and may prefer to hang back when meeting new people. However, his gentle nature and medium energy make him an easygoing companion once trust is built. He is also great with other dogs!Trishula would thrive in a home that understands his need for a little time to adjust and appreciates his loving and loyal personality. If you are looking for a calm, intelligent dog who will bond deeply with you, Trishula is ready to meet his forever family! He is currently in foster care. Fill out an application to meet him today.
