Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 35 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.

We got Chaco in 2020, before my wife and I had kids and I started to travel for work. He is very sweet and good with the kids, but we don’t have time to exercise him as we should. We will be incredibly sad to see him go, but it’s the right thing for him and us.

Story
Hello there! I'm Alexis, a 3-month-old puppy with a heart full of love. I'm sweet as honey, friendly as a summer day, and curious about everything around me. When I'm not exploring my surroundings, I'm in the mood for a good game. I love toys, they're my favorite! And when playtime is over, I'm all about cuddles. I'm as playful and energetic as they come, but I also know when it's time to chill and snuggle. I get along great with other dogs and kids too! I'm just a young pup looking for a family to share my love and energy with. If you're in search of a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter to your life, then I'm your girl. Come see me in Windsor!

Story
Letif has come so far!!! He’s been in foster for 4 years and 3 months. He was a super shy feral little pup when he came in. He’s made so much progress! He loves to have you throw toys in the yard for him, and he sometimes brings it back! He really enjoys having time spent with him, but is a touch shy still. I would say mostly potty trained because he never goes on the inside of his kennel. He is a super happy dog! It looks like he is smiling a lot!! He’s done well with kids.He is a little more shy with men, but I think he would come around pretty quickly! Want a new happy best friend!? Apply to adopt him today on our website www.souldog.org. If you have any questions, email adopt@souldog.org.

Story
Welcome this little bear into your home, and you’ll fall in love. Rainy Day is the sweetest loaf who loves everyone and every dog he meets. He is a bit lazier than his foster sister but absolutely loves chomping; sticks, treats, foster mom fingers (when she allows it). His favorite pastime is sitting on the snow pile on the porch and looking out at the world (okay, backyard). He would do well in a home with anyone, including kids but could use another animal to play with or at least get out a lot for play dates, and if nothing else, lots to entertain him. House training is in progress but is completely crate trained. Be careful meeting him, cause once you stare into those sweet eyes, or catch one of his contemplating head tilts, you may not be able to resist his charms. He is in a foster home, if you’re interested in meeting him please fill out an application on our website at www.souldog.org and we will be in touch with you for next steps! Story
I may photograph like a demure, mature woman sometimes, but do not let that fool you-I am full of puppy delight and joy. I love treats, playing with my brother, kissing and playing with my big foster dog sister, and checking out the cat. If I see a lap I climb in it, and if I see a dog I want to kiss it. I am starting to discover running and I LOVE it. I may be the runt of my litter but that just means I work extra hard to stand out as the goodest girl. I am progressing with house training and my foster mom says I get an A+ in crate training. With lots of attention I could be in a home as an only dog but would also thrive with another dog to play with.I’m in a foster home! If you’re interested in meeting me please fill out an application on our website at www.souldog.org and email adopt@souldog.org with any questions!

Story
Oli, Border, Collie, 3 yrs., 45 lbs. Oli was abandoned on our land a couple of years ago. He has a very sweet and energetic personality. He has been gentle with my husband and I and our children. He loves to snuggle up and be pet. He can get a little nervous and skittish around people he doesn't know. He is crate trained. He is not house trained apart from being in the crate at night. He has very strong herding instincts. He does chase cats. He would do better as an only dog with someone home most of the time. He could do well with another dog if he received supervision and training. Someone with Border Collie experience and an active life style would be ideal. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
