Story
Letif has come so far!!! He’s been in foster for 4 years and 3 months. He was a super shy feral little pup when he came in. He’s made so much progress! He loves to have you throw toys in the yard for him, and he sometimes brings it back! He really enjoys having time spent with him, but is a touch shy still. I would say mostly potty trained because he never goes on the inside of his kennel. He is a super happy dog! It looks like he is smiling a lot!! He’s done well with kids.He is a little more shy with men, but I think he would come around pretty quickly! Want a new happy best friend!? Apply to adopt him today on our website www.souldog.org. If you have any questions, email adopt@souldog.org.

She usually only has accidents at night. We let her out every couple of hours to encourage her. She loves playing outside with her sister Moon Rust and taking long naps. She is low key and listens very well. She’s in a foster home, please submit an application on our website www.souldog.org if you’re interested in meeting her! Story
Caeli is a spunky little girl who is full of life! She was found with her mother and 8 siblings in a cave in Mount Powell Canyon. After spending the first two months of her life at the shelter, she has been living with one of her brothers in a foster home. Caeli is a true puppy. As a mix between an Australian Cattle Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman, and a few other breeds, she truly embodies her big girl energy. Caeli was the runt of the litter, which taught her how to fight for food, attention, and general survival instincts. Even though she is about half the size of her siblings, we estimate her to grow to at least 40lbs, since her siblings will be much bigger. Caeli loves all people and dogs but is a little shy with first introductions. She can sometimes be very vocal for what she wants and plays a little feisty, but ultimately loves the companionship of her foster siblings. She eats her meals in a crate and will occasionally nap in her crate, but refuses to sleep overnight in a crate. We are working on potty training, but with all puppies, it takes patience and a lot of positive reinforcement. She still has accidents inside, but with the introduction to a doggy door, she has significantly improved. Caeli is very treat motivated and eager to please. We are still working on her taking treats gently, but has a lot of potential to be a people pleaser. She loves her toys and does not tear them apart but will become destructive if she mistakes something else for a toy that is not. Caeli will require a lot of attention and positive redirection.Caeli has true potential to be someones best friend and adventure companion. She is very independent and can usually entertain herself, but occasionally wants to be held in your arms to show her affection. If you are interested in this lucky little penny with SO much potential, please apply today to meet Caeli at www.souldog.org/adoptDue to the region where Caeli and her siblings were found, the medical staff suspects the presence of an auto-immune disease in Caeli and two of her siblings. This may require being on a life-long medication in order to avoid any health complications down the road. Please do not let this deter you from applying to meet her, as Caeli will live a normal life as long as she is on the proper medication. As such, we are looking for an adopter with the financial ability to cover the necessary treatment.
