Story
Lucky is a 4,5 years old rescue dog, we got him through a shelter in Boulder at age 1,5-2 y old. He is a good dog and trained by Blackpaw dog trainer. He never damages anything in the house, he sleeps in his crate, house trained for a long time. When he knows the people he is very good but he needs to be introduced properly. He is very good with my family, including 3 years old granddaughter, but he can be very protective of all of us when stranger comes. My husband has Alzheimer's and he is his dog and he is not handling him well and dog is getting very protective of him, noticing his weakness on leadership. He gets into fights with other dogs sometimes to protect him if they walk alone. This doesn't happen with me. He does listen to me but not him. That's why we want to rehome him to get him an owner he will respect and treat him properly. We love him very much but this is better for us and Lucky.

"Jiffy is a gentle soul looking for a patient and loving forever home. This sweet pup has a mellow temperament, making him the perfect companion for a calm and peaceful household. He's fully potty trained and has excellent manners, making him an easy addition to any family. Jiffy gets along beautifully with dogs and cats alike, showing a friendly and respectful nature towards all furry friends. He would do great in a household with animals already. He has a healthy curiosity about the world around him but can be a bit shy around new people. Give him a day or two, and you’ll see him warm up into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, loving, and gentle pup who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, Jiffy might be your perfect match! " ##2314330##

Story
Mazy was abandoned by her prior owners, left behind when they moved away. She had to fend for herself for several months. In the same part of town that Mazy was hanging out, a doodle, whose owner allowed to roam the streets, impregnated Mazy. Not knowing where else to go, Mazy had her four puppies under the house where she was abandoned. She was a very good mom and went out every day to find food to keep nursing her puppies. That is when animal control followed her one day becasue they could see she was nursing. One of the animal control officers had to crawl under the house to save the puppies. Mazy was happy for the help and she allowed the puppies to be brought out one by one while she waited outside of the house.  Mazy resembles a fox, very petite and regal! Mazy is a very affectionate dog and loves to be loved on by her people. She is hungry for human interaction! At first she is cautious but once you scratch her head and love on her she melts. She enjoys the yard and finds squirrel very intriguing. If she wants, she can escape a 4ft fence in pursuit of a squirrel who taunts her. This smart girl is both house and crate trained. She is trustworthy sleeping outside the crate at night. She loves to be brushed and has the most beautiful, multicolored coat. At ~30-35 pounds and 2 years of age, Mazy is the perfect size no matter what your activiites. She is gentle and sweet with all humans she meets and greets new dogs with ease and comfort. She is relaxed and easy going. Mazy deserves a loving home where she can be part of the family and not have to worry about being left behind! If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2331083##

Story
Ginger was picked up at 7 months old from Dodge City, KS; her story was unknown before this time. Since arriving in CO, she has been adopted twice and returned within one week. This was why I started working with her to find her a good home. For me, it was perfect to start with a dog that was a lot of work for my first board and train, but not aggressive. Over our first 3 weeks together she's learned how to walk nicely on a leash, sit, come and go to place, but none of these are nearly as important as the work we've done just getting her comfortable in her skin and learning how to interact with the world. We even traveled to Arkansas to attend a Larry Krohn seminar to help ensure her success and my own. Whoever adopts her will receive a well-trained dog and at least 4 follow-up lessons with me to make sure she transitions nicely into her new home. Also, I'll help you get her to be reliable off-leash if I haven't already done so by the time you're reading this. Thank you

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Shyla is a beautiful spirit who had a rough start to life. She was dumped with her two siblings and was hit by a car. Luckily she was brought to a wonderful vet who helped her heal. While Shyla has a permanent spinal curvature, it does not slow her down - she runs, plays, and jumps up and down off the deck just like any other goofball teenager. She also exhibits some of the sassy smart traits that are the hallmark of australian shepherds - she’s smart and she knows it! She does great with other dogs and is gentle with children. She does spin when she gets excited and tends to drift to her right when she walks. Shyla is crate trained and does well with potty training in the house when on a regular schedule.
