Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Meet Walter he is the best mix of playful & cuddly. He loves a good scratch behind his ears & to cuddle, but he also enjoys a good game of tug or fetch. He is an attentive fellow who is eager to please & loves to be praised & rewarded with treats! He is brave & friendly & has not met a human or dog he didn't like. He is still a baby so is still learning manners and proper dog etiquette but he is a quick learner! He has a scar behind his ear that isn't noticeable when looking eye to eye. We aren't sure where it came from but it has been there since we first met when he was just a few weeks old & it has never bothered him. Walter is ready for lots of love and his own home! Beware - if you come meet him you will fall in love with his sweet/happy face & brown eyebrows! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Jax is a fun energetic boy! He is 8 years young and loves to be active. He’ll be a great match for you if you enjoy walking, running, hiking, camping and taking him on adventures. He is great at fetch, the best hiking buddy and LOVES all things play, praise & attention. Jax is an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. He must have a home with people who activity and exercise. Jax was attacked at a dog park when he was about 2 years old. He was protecting me from a large dog that came after me (his owner). He does ok with smaller dogs (depending on their attitude) but he does not do well with dog his size or larger. This may change with a new owner? But he is very protective of his family. Jax has a high prey-drive so we often keep him on leash or on a lead when camping and hiking, because he LOVES to chase rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and deer. Jax is very afraid of thunder and drones, and is not familiar with being around large bodies of water - these things make him bark.

Story
0624134 - **Meet Kona!** Kona is a spunky and sweet 11-week-old Australian Shepherd mix who is full of energy and love. He adores everyone he meets—humans, dogs, and cats. Kona is making progress with house training and is learning to "sit" for treats. He loves running around in the yard, exploring his surroundings, and enjoying a good belly rub. While he can be a bit protective of his food bowl around his siblings, feeding him separately has worked well. Kona's playful and loving nature makes him a wonderful addition to any household looking for a devoted companion. Ready to welcome Kona into your home? Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi Colorado- I am Loslin. I am searching for my forever home in this great state, but my foster family says I will be a great companion. I am the most low key puppy, I get excited to see you when you come home, then I am happy chewing on my bones or playing with my toys. I like kids and snuggling with any human or curled up in my bed. I like other dogs as well, but I am more on the submissive side, so I like to look at the scene to see how I will fit in. I have been told I am shy and observant, looking to understand my surroundings. I am quickly working on my leash skills and have joined my foster family at soccer games and breweries, but their goal is to get me on the hiking trails soon. I also love to please and am learning quickly what to do around the house. My foster mom says I am the best puppy of all her fosters. I can't wait to meet you and show you how sweet and kind I am. With the right training, I will be the perfect companion! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2035458##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Meet TicTac! This perfect little girl is just everything you could ask for in a pup! TicTac is up to date on puppy shots, chipped and spayed. She is 5 months old and about 15 pounds. She is basically every positive adjective you can think of! She's energetic when it's play time, but knows how to stay calm during down time. She's infinitely smart and picks up on your body language instinctively. She loves her person's attention more than anything, but also knows how to entertain yourself if you need a moment or are busy. TicTac has not been exposed to kids or cats, but given how loving she is with everyone she meets, I don't think she'd have any problems with either! She gets along wonderfully with my two big dogs and gets right in there during playtime! TicTac is a little shy in new situations but readily puts her trust in you and gets comfortable pretty quickly. She does have some crate anxiety, but does better every day. It seems she just needs to build trust with her humans, that they will always come back. In the couple weeks she's been with us, she's almost completely picked up on potty training, uses puppy pads like a champ, has learned ‘sit’, and picked up on a few other phrases like ‘let's go potty,’ ‘are you hungry,’ ‘off,’ ‘come here,’ and ‘no.’ The kicker is, she picked up on all that on her own, zero training or instruction! I can only imagine how awesome TicTac could be with some proper training attention. Completing her potty training should be a breeze! She would be a perfect adventure companion but also could do great in a calmer environment with some regular playtime. She just wants to be involved and included in your life, no matter what that looks like. TicTac falls in love quickly and is completely ready to find her forever home! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2128002##
