Story
Huey is an amazing, lovable, goofball! He is a 3 year old Australian shepherd with the biggest heart. Huey loves to go on walks, hikes, and runs, but is equally as happy taking a nap or snuggling. His favorite foods are tomatoes and cheese. He has such a great funky personality that is so easy to love. Although seemingly aloof, he is quite intelligent, and appreciates mental stimulation as well as physical. He is easily excited by visitors but calms down quickly. He is an excellent leash walker, has decent off leash recall, and is house trained. He was originally crate trained, has since moved on, but is still comfortable in crate. Huey loves people and warms up to them very quickly! He doesn’t need to be the center of attention, but loves to just be around people whenever he gets the chance, wether it’s lounging on the couch, or observing from a distance. **Must have at least 1 of: yard, work from home, or be able to prove active lifestyle**

Story
Ginger was picked up at 7 months old from Dodge City, KS; her story was unknown before this time. Since arriving in CO, she has been adopted twice and returned within one week. This was why I started working with her to find her a good home. For me, it was perfect to start with a dog that was a lot of work for my first board and train, but not aggressive. Over our first 3 weeks together she's learned how to walk nicely on a leash, sit, come and go to place, but none of these are nearly as important as the work we've done just getting her comfortable in her skin and learning how to interact with the world. We even traveled to Arkansas to attend a Larry Krohn seminar to help ensure her success and my own. Whoever adopts her will receive a well-trained dog and at least 4 follow-up lessons with me to make sure she transitions nicely into her new home. Also, I'll help you get her to be reliable off-leash if I haven't already done so by the time you're reading this. Thank you

Story
Meet Lyric! Formerly known as Luna, this sweet girl is as special as they come! Lyric came to us with her 7 babies, whom have all found their forever homes. She just finished her heartworm treatment and is ready for her next adventure in life.  Lyric is a sweet, submissive pup who loves other dogs. She can be shy when first meeting new people and needs a patient person or family to let her acclimate into. She's likely spent much of her life either in a shelter environment or living on the streets. She is more timid around men and will need extra time and patience.  She can have bouts of high-energy play and loves to romp around the yard and receive mental stimulation like puzzle bowls, slow feeders, kongs etc. She’ll need an active family who can keep her entertained. While she’s not potty trained yet and doesn’t fully understand how the dog door works, she’s eager to please and would love a patient teacher to help her learn. If you’re interested in helping Lyric heal and maybe even foster-to-adopt now that she's completed heartworm treatment, she’d love to meet you! She’ll need to stay on preventatives for the rest of her life and will require future check-ups to ensure she stays healthy. Apply online at (www.lolasrescue.com)! You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  **Animals at the rescue center are available to meet during regular hours as listed on our website. ** ##2154017##

Story
Hi!!! I'm Nivea! My favorite things are crinkle toys, humans (all shapes and sizes), cats, dogs, running around outside, food, and cuddling! Sometimes, this world can be a little too overwhelming for me, but with a routine and some time to adjust, I turn into your typical puppy! You wouldn't know it, but I can't see very well and I can't really hear. Don't let that discourage you, I promise I make up for it with my fun-loving personality and lots of cuddles.  Because of my impairments, I sometimes get anxious when I'm alone. A home where someone in my family is with me more often than not is ideal! I just don't like being alone most of the time.  I'm learning some touch training commands, and I'm learning where to go to the bathroom. Leash walking is so much fun too!! I just like to run, especially in circles!! My foster mom says that's not ideal most days, so she is helping me learn how to walk properly too. If you want a cuddle buddy and friend to play with, I'd love to meet you!! Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com Dogs that state ***RESCUE CENTER*** are available for meet and greets 7 days a week between 11am and 4pm at Lola's Rescue Center located at 22351 E. Bayaud Place, Aurora CO 80018 Dogs that state ***FOSTER HOME*** will need to have a preapproved application on file before setting up meet and greets.  You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2248721##

Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1955495##

Story
Brookie is a one of a kind mix with a big personality! She loves belly rubs, playing tug, running around outdoors and cuddling with her people. She loves water, chasing squirrels and going to the mountains! She would make a great addition to an active home with a fenced yard.  She also needs a family without young kids; older kids are fine. Brookie is still learning how to greet people politely - she tends to bark, jump up and say hi, but will calm down with time. She has separation anxiety but has been able to work up to being alone in her crate for 3-4 hours at a time with the help of a peanut butter filled Kong and trazodone. She would do well with someone who is home most of the day. As far as training goes, Brookie knows how to sit, stay, come, and go to her place. She is still working on heel. She is treat motivated and learns quickly! When she’s not enjoying a long walk or playing with her toys, she loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. Brookie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give!    Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Story
Buddy is a fun-loving and affectionate 2 year old cattle dog mix with a heart full of love! He is looking for his forever home where he can share all his energy and affection with a family who’ll appreciate his playful nature. Buddy is a high-energy dog who loves to play and will keep you on your toes with his enthusiasm. He’s got a lot of love to give and enjoys every moment of affection, whether it’s pets, belly rubs, or simply being by your side. His energetic personality makes him a great companion for an active family or anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures. Buddy would do well in a household with another dog as his playmate and an enclosed yard. While Buddy is full of energy, he has been making fantastic progress in managing his excitement. Sometimes he can get a little over excited, but his crate has been a great tool to help him calm down. He’s house trained + crate trained and has learned that spending some time in his crate helps him stay relaxed and collected. Buddy is food motivated and loves a good challenge, especially when it involves food puzzles. He prefers using puzzles or scavenging for his meals on the floor rather than eating out of a bowl. ##2291842##
