Story
Ginger was picked up at 7 months old from Dodge City, KS; her story was unknown before this time. Since arriving in CO, she has been adopted twice and returned within one week. This was why I started working with her to find her a good home. For me, it was perfect to start with a dog that was a lot of work for my first board and train, but not aggressive. Over our first 3 weeks together she's learned how to walk nicely on a leash, sit, come and go to place, but none of these are nearly as important as the work we've done just getting her comfortable in her skin and learning how to interact with the world. We even traveled to Arkansas to attend a Larry Krohn seminar to help ensure her success and my own. Whoever adopts her will receive a well-trained dog and at least 4 follow-up lessons with me to make sure she transitions nicely into her new home. Also, I'll help you get her to be reliable off-leash if I haven't already done so by the time you're reading this. Thank you

Story
River is a survivor! River came to a A Friend of Jack after she was surrendered to the ER for parvo treatment. After a hospitalization and a couple weeks quarantined in her fosters’ bathroom, River is stronger than ever and ready to play! Quite literally, River will play fetch and with her toys until she drops. She’s a sweet girl, who loves to lie between your feet for belly rubs (be careful of the occasional puppy nibble!).  River is picking up on basic commands really quickly, she knows sit, come here, no, and is working on her down. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, and is happy to go in there for her many daytime naps. River is almost fully potty trained - she’ll let you know when she needs to go out, but does still have the occasional accident. While she’ll run around outside with her foster sister, she prefers to play inside with toys and sprint across the living room. She’s still figuring out how to share with other dogs, so would do best with a patient older dog who is ok correcting puppy behavior.  River is quintessential Aussie (Mix) - her butt wiggles, she can be chatty, she has all the energy in the world. River would do best in an active household - she can get destructive if she’s really bored. As soon as she’s done with her vaccines, she’ll be ready to conquer the world!  ##2340809##

Story
Anna is a three year old Aussie Anatolian Shepherd mix and 100% very sweet girl, affectionate and loving. She will join you on the floor or couch and cuddle with you. She loves to play with other dogs both male and female, and run around in the backyard. Anna walks great on a leash, has learned to sit and we are working on other basic training for her. She knows her name well and comes when you call her. She is pretty chill when inside- just likes to lay around like a cute, fluffy potato. Barking is very minimal. She is working on going potty outside and doing very well. Likes: to be with people Dislikes: to be alone Anna is good with dogs, cats and great with kids but unsure of small kids. Anna is being fostered in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. ##2283341##

Story
Meet Rocky! This nine month old little freckle puppy will steal your heart. His favorite thing is snuggling up to his human and giving lots of cuddles and kisses.  He loves to play with all dogs and even likes the cat.  He is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. His love for cheese whiz and chicken is adorable, and it’s nice to hear he gets along well with kids. His shyness will likely improve as he becomes more comfortable in his environment. Rocky is being fostered in Thornton, CO. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and available for his forever home. ##2146130##

Story
Silvy is a social, outgoing lady looking for a family to herd.  She enjoys romping in the snow and wrestling with the other dogs.  She enjoys her outside time and when given the opportunity to be inside or out in the rain/snow......she chooses outside!  She has soft long fur that makes her look freshly electrocuted when wet.  She enjoys being brushed and didn't really care about a bath.  Silvy plays nicely with dogs and people.  She can be vocal while playing.  She uses the doggie door with ease and rides nicely in the car.  She walks on the leash gently and is ready for her own family.  Silvy is fostered in Colorado Springs  ##2330839##

Story
Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1955495##

Story
Max is a sweet and mature boy looking for a family to spoil him! He's a big fan of fetch and then will content to snuggle up on the couch with his adopter.Who doesn't get that warm feeling when you see a dog having the time of its life just rolling around in the grass?! Well, that's Max when our volunteers take him out for his walks. He's very easy to leash and walk and sits politely for treats. And they think he has a beautiful smile.Max has enjoyed opportunities for casual recreation with other dogs, but he would prefer not sharing his living space. He will only be rehomed to a family with children 10 or older and without other dogs. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 78 Age: 8yrs 5mths 1wks

Story
Sammy is looking for a new home after this transitional period of his life! He would likely enjoy a home that is slower paced and allows him to approach his new family at his own pace. A bit sensitive towards touch, he'd likely appreciate a more hands off approach while he settles into his new normal. Once comfortable you'll likely see his bouncy side as he enjoys playing with balls and exploring new places with his family. Sammy has enjoyed opportunities for casual recreation with others, but isn't fond of sharing his living space. He will only be placed in a home with children 10 or older and without other dogs.
