Story
Iggy is a good girl, she loves to have space and look out a window if inside. I would love for her to go somewhere with a yard, she loves to run. She also loves the snow, but hates the rain...silly girl. She is housetrained, and will stay in whatever area has her bed. Iggy does get nervous and anxious around new people, it will take her a second to get used to them, quicker if they pet her to let her know they are safe to be around. Iggy loves to play with other dogs, but is sometimes selective on who she becomes friends with. We adopted her when she was 5 months old and she is currently 3 years old. I love this girl, and as much as I don't want to lose her, I think she deserves so much better.

He has unique fuzzy heeler coloring, mostly silver wit a little bit of red. He is loving and dog friendly, wags his tail when meets a new dog. Loves to run and investigate outside, you can see joy and anticipation on his face. Was surrendered due to owner moving. Story
Lady, cattledog mix, 3 yo, 46 lb, spayed femaleLady is thin long-legged cattledog mix with the cutest face and floppy ears. She is curious and fascinated by all kinds of things. Lady spent months and months in limbo in boarding and was happy to join our gang and have a choice of playmates.  She is young and active, and needs a fenced yard.  Lady finds it most comforting to lie down close to you especially if she can somehow lean into you. It is hard to understand how this gentle angel, still almost a puppy, could be abandoned. We so hope to find stable loving home for her. Adoption fee $325. Story
Rusty is looking for a home to call his own. Once he knows you, he loves to get pets and does not mind cuddles. Rusty is fully crate-trained and potty-trained in his foster home. Rusty does well walking on a leash. He knows sit, down roll-over, and is working on other basic commands with his foster mom!  He is so treat-motivated he is easy to work with! Rusty would love a playmate to run around and play with who is respectful and will give him time to warm up to them (he can be new doggie shy for a few minutes.) Rusty’s ideal home would have a fenced backyard where he can sunbathe and run around with his new friends. Please consider welcoming this boy into your family! His adoption fee is $375 Put in an application at eapl.comAugust 19, 2024, 7:58 pm

Story
Copper missed out on early socialization opportunities and will require a patient guardian who can help him continue to find joy and safety. He adored the dog he previously shared his home with and is therefore required to reside in a multi-dog household. To make sure he finds a good fit with another canine, we're requiring a doggie meet and greet here at the shelter before an adoption. Copper was uncomfortable being confined in his previous home and will need your support to navigate alone time moving forward. Additionally, due to his tender personality HSBV will only rehome him to a family with children aged 10 and up.
