He is great at fetch, the best hiking buddy and LOVES all things play, praise & attention. Jax is an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. He must have a home with people who activity and exercise. Jax was attacked at a dog park when he was about 2 years old. He was protecting me from a large dog that came after me (his owner). He does ok with smaller dogs (depending on their attitude) but he does not do well with dog his size or larger. This may change with a new owner? But he is very protective of his family. Jax has a high prey-drive so we often keep him on leash or on a lead when camping and hiking, because he LOVES to chase rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and deer. Jax is very afraid of thunder and drones, and is not familiar with being around large bodies of water - these things make him bark.
