Story
Cady is an absolute darling. She's energetic, loves to go, leads the way, and pulls some on the leash. She is very friendly, comfortable approaching new friends, and readily accepts petting from those she meets. Seems smart and already knows sit.Her coat is as soft as can be and she takes treats with a gentle mouth. Everyone who's met her has nothing but good things to say (especially about how sweet she is). Cady has a previous injury that makes her walk weird, but it doesn't slow her down one bit. Currently, we do not believe that it is causing her any pain. Because of this, she would do best in a home where she can take things at her pace. She'd love leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, playing at her speed, and hanging out with her people. Story
Isaac is an energetic sweetheart. He loves treats and running. Isaac knows how to sit and seems to have known other basic commands at some point, if you whistle at him when walking, he'll put himself into a heel for a few moments. He needs some leash training but that shouldn't be hard because he's smart, treat motivated, and eager to please. Mr. Isaac also loves attention from people and enjoys just sitting and getting attention from volunteers. He'd be a perfect adventure companion for a household looking for their next Furry companion. Story
Sparky is a cute, calm, loving companion who is ready to be your new best friend! In his foster home, he loves to be with his humans. He loves other dogs too and plays well with dogs of various sizes. He also loves to go on hikes! He walks well on leash and is ready for adventures with you. When at home, he is calm and does not jump or bark. He loves all people he meets! He can be a little shy for the first few minutes but warms up quickly. His foster thinks he would do best in a home with another playful dog, loving owners, and a yard to play in or walks/hikes every day! We recommend kids over 12. He will most likely do best in a calm home. He seems to be scared of squeaky toys and can be a picky eater. We know you will love this special boy as much as we do.   Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.
