Story
Tilly is mesmerizing with her ice blue eyes. This beautiful girl is only 9 months old. She is very smart. She would be great learning one of the many dog sports. She consistantly "checks in" with her foster mom to see if anything is expected of her.  Tilly would thrive with an adopter who is "hands on". She is 1/3 border collie, but also has small amounts of siberian husky/saint bernard/boxer/labrador retriever per her DNA results. A quiet home without small children would be ideal for her. Tilly is dog selective and it is unknown how she is with cats. She is crate and potty trained. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is only $300.00. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1880121##

Story
Jim Hopper is a super smart highly energetic dog and is a great fit for an active family who enjoys working with their dog. If you are looking for a couch potato this is not your guy. He will play fetch for hours, this guy will fetch anything. If your looking for a dog that you can teach to do fun tricks, he is your guy. Please do your research on boarder collies before you apply. He is a classic example of the description. They are absolutely wonderful dogs for the right families. If their physically and mental needs are not meant they can be difficult to life with. If Hopper isn't the one for you do not fret we have many other dogs available. Leash Manners: Need work a bit all over the place Basic Commands: Sit, Down, fetch Cat introduction in a controlled environment: ignores, I would still recommend a slow intro as the breed instinctively herds Good with dogs? Eligible for dog intro Special Note; Smart active high energy dog Adoption Fee: $ 100Estimated Age: 5 yrs oldIntake Reason: Transfer from PCAPSAnimal will be spayed and up to date on vaccines, and microchipped prior to adoption. If their kennel card on display at TAPS shelter facility is marked as unaltered, the animal will be altered prior to being released for adoption. Animal stage may change from time to time based on surgery and medical status. TAPS strives to keep kennel cards as up to date as possible with current information but from time to time, information may change and a new kennel card may be pending. Full and current vaccination schedule and medical records along with any behavioral disclosures will be provided at time of adoption.

A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. Story
Meet Angelo, affectionately known as Jello! He’s a 3-year old Border Collie mix who weighs 53 pounds.  This high-energy, happy-go-lucky dog is looking for an active home where he can thrive.  Jello is both house trained and crate trained. Jello is ready to be your next adventure buddy.  While he enjoys walks around the neighborhood and playing in the yard, he loves hiking and swimming.  Jello also LOVES other dogs.  He would thrive in a home with another playful dog.  Jello has met dogs both big and small and done well with them all. Due to his high energy, Jello is best suited for a home without cats and with children over the age of 8, as he may accidentally knock over smaller kids.  While Jello has not been in a home with children, he has done well with all the children he has met.  Jello enjoys toys, chews, car rides, and walks or runs.    His foster mom describes him as friendly, out-going, confident, adaptable, and playful.  Jello has made a lot of improvement with training, but in typical herding breed fashion, he can be a bit mouthy or jump if he is over-stimulated.  His adopters should be prepared for some continued training but Jello has so many great qualities.  He’s a bit of a diamond in the rough, but with a bit of polishing he will truly shine. Jello’s ideal home would be with an active family who love outdoor activities and are committed to providing him with regular exercise.  A doggy playmate isn’t essential, but he would certainly enjoy the company.  With time, patience, and consistent training, Jello will be a wonderful addition to his new family.  If you are looking for an enthusiastic, adventurous companion, Jello could be the perfect match for you. His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
