Story
Meet Georgia, a beautiful Border Collie mix with all the brains and energy her breed is known for! This clever girl is full of spirit and would thrive in a home that understands her herding instincts-she can be a bit nippy during play, so canine companions who don't mind her style are a must. Georgia is also best suited for a home with slightly older kids who can respect her need for personal space, especially when it comes to her toys. With the right match, Georgia will be a loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining addition to the family! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 46.8 Age: 2yrs 10mths 3wks

Story
Looking to add some spice to your life? Pepper might be just the friend you are looking for! Pepper is a 12 week old mixed breed puppy, possibly Border Collie/Australian Shepherd. She is very spunky and loves to play! Squeaky toys are her favorite, especially if they bounce and roll, but any toy will do! Since Pepper is most likely an active/working breed mix, she would love a buddy or family who can keep her busy! She loves to play outside and is great with other dogs, but needs to learn to give cats more respect (she is just a baby though!) She is definitely still in her puppy chewing phase, so you will have to watch out for your shoes (flip flops seem to be a favorite). She is working on potty training and learning a crate is not the worst place to be. She can be LOUD when expressing her displeasure at being cooped up, but that will get better as she gets used to it. She can easily climb out of her 2.5 foot tall playpen, so it’s possible a 4-foot fence will not keep her contained when she is fully grown. She is ready to start puppy training classes with her new family! Pepper will be spayed at our vet when age appropriate, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet her forever family! Her adoption donation is $425. Please apply directly on our website in the dropdown menu. https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! April 17, 2025, 4:28 am

Story
Say hello to Matilda, or Tilly—a currently 10-week-old, 6 lb Border Collie/Terrier mix (best guess) with a whole lot of personality packed into one tiny, adorable pup! This little lady is as bold as she is lovable, with a feisty spirit and a heart full of curiosity. Matilda is always up for an adventure, whether it’s exploring the backyard jungle or trotting after you to see what you’re up to. She plays hard (zoomies included!) and snuggles even harder. When she’s not busy being the life of the party, she’s the perfect cuddle companion. She’s also a smart cookie! Matilda is already well on her way to being fully potty trained, picking things up fast and eager to please. She’s got just the right mix of sass and sweetness to keep you laughing and loving every minute. If you’re looking for a spunky sidekick with a whole lot of heart, Matilda is your girl. Apply for Tilly today…you’ll fall in love instantly. Her adoption donation is $425. She will be spayed at one of our vets when age appropriate, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to meet you! Story
Meet Oreo girly she’s about 1.5 years old. She is very affectionate, loves to be cuddled and go for long walks. She’s also a chewer! Loves to chew and sniff. She needs to be in a home that can give her full attention and keep up with her high energy. We have a very busy schedule with our 4 kiddos and have not been able to keep up with the attention she deserves to be able to thrive. She still needs a lot of training to be a good girl. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to use the potty.
