Story
Fatty’s name does not do him justice – he should be named gentle love bug instead. While he likes food and weighs 35 to 40 lbs, he is very slow eating it and likes to lie down while eating – not a fatty at all! He is doing great with potty training and sleeps through the night in a crate without a sound or any accidents. His herding side really shows through when in the house – he follows his foster mom whenever she gets up and likes to lie at her feet. While he likes other dogs and people he has meet, he is timid about new things, but he is getting more comfortable every day. He’s a medium energy dog and is great at matching your energy – he is content to lie at your feet with a soft chew toy or go on a 3 mile walk with you. He’s up for anything just as long as he’s near you! He also likes to play ball – he is not the fastest or most graceful, but very cutely bounds after tennis balls. If you have the time to give and a spot in your heart, Fatty would make a great addition to any home :)Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org March 11, 2025, 10:27 pm

Story
DON'T MISS OUT!  Reagan is the last and only puppy left from Rosie's beautiful litter of nine...Reagan is now half grown, fully immunized, and ready for her forever home.  She is a beautiful, affectionate, inquisitive,  athletic, energetic -- and smart! -- puppy.  Although Mom is listed as a border collie mix, Reagan looks pretty much totally like a black Lab and has many of a Lab's wonderful qualities and attributes.  Her markings are just a grey 'necktie' on her chest and some grey on her tippy-toes.  She is learning to play fetch, and learning to walk on a leash.  She knows to sit for a treat.   She is a hundred percent comfortable in a crate, and is well on her way to being housebroken ... (too young to make it through a whole night yet, but clearly understands the concept of doing her business in the yard as soon as she goes out to play.)  And she plays and runs and wrestles and gets along very well with our own (much larger and male) personal adult dog.   Reagan will weigh 60-65 pounds at maturity.  She will be a great family pet for a family with children, (although perhaps a bit too enthusiastic for a toddler.)  Interestingly, although she certainly can bark, she rarely does...even at our Adoption Events, where there are lots of puppies and other dogs and people galore, she just tends to look a bit puzzled when she hears any commotion...that said, and in the interests of full disclosure, she can be pretty vocal at mealtime when she hears those sounds!  A very healthy, happy-go-lucky, occasionally goofy puppy that will bring much love and joy to your household.  Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org March 11, 2025, 8:36 pm

Story
Here is what sweet Pickle BC's foster mom tells us about her: 'Pickle BC is a real sweetheart! And she is house trained now too! She sleeps well through the night and is very easy to correct. Pickle is also a good watch dog! She is very good at keeping herself entertained with a tennis ball or bone and thankfully, is non-destructive inside or outside. She's very quick to get to food that falls on the floor and loves her meals! She would be great in a home that has a playful dog already and has someone a good part of the day. Pickles loves everyone in the family and doesn't play favorites. She has really come out of her shell and she will make an excellent family pet!!' We think she really needs to be in a home with another playful or confident dog to help her continue to progress. If you are interested in this beautiful and sweet pup, please let us know! Thank you for your interest in Pickle BC!
