Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I like dogs! I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them. What my friends at OHS say about me:Zippy and lively, that's me! I'm going to need a person who is similar-someone with energy who is ready for fun and games. Did you know that there are lots of things that dogs and humans can do together beyond the common game of fetch? How about some agility or Frisbee? Will my performance of spins, hops, and woofs convince you to pick me? I hope so!I would love someone to teach me fun tricks!Want help meeting new people and making friends? I will be your best wing-dog!I have been diagnosed with dental disease which means I may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.Escape Artist: I love showing off how high I can jump! I will need supervision when outdoors or we can go on adventures together - on leash of course!High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.I may do best in a home without cats or small animals. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! I can't wait to find my forever home! Story
Mary Jane is a spayed cattle dog mix. She’s 3-4 years old, and 40 lbs. She’s grown up with kids but is territorial in and around their home towards other people and kids. Outside her own neighborhood she’s shy and needs some time to warm up to new dogs and people. She’s nervous but interested in other dogs. She chases cats. MJ is obedient, smart, food-motivated, and great with her family and kids. Owners have tried a dog trainer but simply don’t have the time to devote to exposure and advanced training. She goes to the dog sitters homes and after a 15 minute warmup period does well with other dogs. If you’re interested in a fun little dog that needs her own person, please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). Her adoption donation is $200.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 10, 2025, 2:49 pm

Story
Gunther was a part of a litter that did not have homes. My family and I took him in with hopes to find him a new home. We have had him in our care for several months but the previous home we found for him fell through. We are hoping to find him a different permanent home as we recently moved to a much smaller living space and he seems to be sad or anxious in the new environment as he cries often even when we attempt to meet his needs. I believe he needs more space and more attention then we are able to give him and I just want him to be happy somewhere. He is high energy. Still very puppy-like in that way and makes me nervous around my toddlers because he gets so excited. However there have never been any incidents between the children and Gunther. In fact, if you ask my 5 year old he loves him the most because he always gives him "kisses".
