Story
Hello, I am Benito. I am a Border Collie mixed breed young dog at 2 years old and weighing 46 pounds. I am sweet and loving with a playful spirit that's contagious. I do like to have my space when I eat if you have other dogs in the home. Since I am still young I like to go for walks and play outside. I will still need some basic training. I can't wait to find my forever home! If you are interested in adopting me, please go to the Ozzie and Friends website   https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/   Ozzie and Friends Rescue makes arrangements for all dogs adopted to be transported all across the Western United States and Midwest.    November 6, 2024, 2:40 pm

Story
Meet Fidget! This adorable Border Collie type mix truly lives up to her name.  She's a bundle of energy with a playful spirit and a whole lot of love to give. Fidget is still learning her manners, so she can be a bit jumpy and mouthy at times. But with patience and consistent training, she'll blossom into a well-behaved companion. Fidget loves to chase, so she needs a home without cats or other small animals she might see as prey. If you're an active individual or family ready for the commitment of puppyhood, Fidget might be the perfect girl for you! She's eager to please and loves to learn, so with the right guidance, she'll be your loyal and loving best friend for years to come. Are you ready to give Fidget the forever home she deserves? 🌟💕 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 34 Age: 0yrs 8mths 1wks

Story
Harlow was born in Afghanistan and lived there for the first two years of her life. In approximately May of 2024 she was sponsored to come to the US and wound up in Oregon. She had two foster families before she came to me. I really want to provide Harlow with her forever home, but prior to getting her I had a cat. I knew that there would be a tough transition, but after nearly 2 months it has become clear to me that the two of them will never be able to co-exist without protective measures. My cat has spent those two months sequestered in a bedroom with a baby gate to protect him. I am limited on space here, but you can learn more about Harlow at https://bit.ly/HarlowInfo. Please note that I WILL be taking additional steps to ensure Harlow is going to a legit home and not some piece of garbage that wants to abuse her or sell her for research. If that description fits you... Don't even try.

Story
Olive is such a gentle and sweet girl! She is 8 months old and vaccinated. We adopted her two months ago but sadly, Olive is extremely scared of large dogs and cannot live with our pyrenees. Her original owner had many large foster dogs and was chased. She is gentle, shy and sweet with people once she warms up to them. She is smaller than a border collie at 30 pounds and will reach 35-37 pounds. She is macnab with border collie and springer spaniel. She is the least active of her litter and is content spending hours lounging on the couch / napping. She is cuddly but also is independent. She enjoys chewing on chew sticks / bones. She did great with our teenagers and has met children with no problems. She does bark with new people if they move very quickly around her. She is very people oriented but needs more socialization. We have had trouble with potty training bc she is so scared of our primary dog; she is successful at going outside when our pyrenees isn’t home. No adoption fee.

Story
Meet Fruity Pebble Milkshake! she is currently 4 weeks old, and we think she may be a Border Collie / Labrador Retriever mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Her mom is a beautiful collie mix, approx 45 lbs, with the SWEETEST demeanor. Watch Fruity Pebble's video here: https://youtu.be/eSnAMwfHx94?si=ZGXmByZgEKr-MJTr This little girl is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She comes from a litter of 8 and loves to play with all of her siblings and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Fruity Pebbles is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/677ead70f26d81ac7b02e379 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Mary Jane is a spayed cattle dog mix. She’s 3-4 years old, and 40 lbs. She’s grown up with kids but is territorial in and around their home towards other people and kids. Outside her own neighborhood she’s shy and needs some time to warm up to new dogs and people. She’s nervous but interested in other dogs. She chases cats. MJ is obedient, smart, food-motivated, and great with her family and kids. Owners have tried a dog trainer but simply don’t have the time to devote to exposure and advanced training. She goes to the dog sitters homes and after a 15 minute warmup period does well with other dogs. If you’re interested in a fun little dog that needs her own person, please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). Her adoption donation is $200.December 16, 2024, 2:05 am
