Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/F9pL-jaD0aM Maddie is a beautiful little girl who is about 4 months old and loves all dogs, people and is great with cats, including kittens. She loves romping around, playing with other dogs, splish-splashing in the water, and running in the snow. She found herself dumped out in the country as is the fate of hundreds of dogs in Oklahoma. Luckily she was found by someone who brought her to our vet who then reached out to us. She is the sweetest little thing and deserves a happily ever after. She is currently still in Oklahoma but can only adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport meeting locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/DwusGa1vNTo Location: Tacoma, WA Cooper is about a year old and weighs 55 lbs. He spent most of his life at a rural shelter in Oklahoma and the shelter recently turned into a kill shelter so he was slated to be euthanized. He came to the shelter with his siblings and the workers there told me they know where they came from and that the momma was a border collie but daddy is unknown so I am just guessing that it may have been a pit bull based on Cooper's looks. 'But he has a long, fluffy tail and dew claws so who knows. All of his siblings were adopted a few months ago and all went to Washington State so I couldn't let him be the only one who didn't make it out alive. Everyone who adopted or fostered one of the siblings absolutely adored them and Cooper's foster also only has good things to say about him. He is in a foster home with 2 other dogs and while I was with me in the rescue he was around dozens of dogs of all sizes. He was fine with cats here but displayed some reactivity to cats so we're going to say that he has to go to a cat free home. He is laid back and chill but can be active so whether you want to veg out on the couch or hike up Mount Si, he will be right by your side. Due to being in the shelter most of his life, he is not used to big human noises yet so when the foster's neighbors had a big party in their yard with lots of noise, he was a bit triggered by that but this was his first time ever being around anything like that so with time and patience he will get used to all human noises but it would be he probably wouldn't be a good fit if you throw big parties on a regular basis. He went through a 10 week training program at a prison and comes with a manual about what he was taught there. Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccines, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine, lepto vaccine, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $450 (the cost of transport from Oklahoma is $250 unfortunately) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Oakley is a 11 month old male Australian Shepard dog. Oakley is such an amazing dog, he loves playing ball, toys, walks, belly rubs and snuggling. Since picking up on 06/01/2024 Oakey he has drastically changed, from being scared to learning to trust people again. He still has a lot of learning to do and I can only see him getting better from here once he finds his people. He needs to find someone that will be patient and loving towards him. Just in a day of having him he warmed up to me immediately and warmed up to my ten-year-old son too. He is good with other dogs and cats once he is comfortable in his environment, but also protective of his people. I am hoping to find someone that is wanting to take the time to work with him and train him. Oakley wasn’t socialized most of his life so is nervous around new people, but is so sweet once he gets to know you. Message me if you're interested.
