Story
Desperate to find a good home for this sweet dog. Gracie is a 7 year old BordercollieLab. She walks on a leash best with a harness and knows basic commands. She is crate trained and used to being indoors most of the time. She does not interact safely with other dogs. She loves to run and play and will need ample outdoor time for exercise. She eats a non grain diet (salmon and potatoe). Gracie would love to be with a person who has time to spend with her.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA CHANCE is a likely Shepherd mix…about 2 yrs old, 35#s. He has been raised in an apartment but he is definitely a dog with energy. He might do BEST with a home with a yard, exercise, children, and lots of play. Or an active single our couple that likes hiking, boating, swimming. Maybe if you work away from home, a dog walker some days and doggie day care twice week? He is learning the basics…leash training, sit, stay. He is not good with cats at this point. Chance hasn’t experienced many of the common daily things but he has a good personality and likes people… especially if they have treats. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions you can email us and if you would like a call give us good times to return the call. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Claire Claire is a 2-month-old Border Collie and Shepherd mix with a playful personality and the sweetest little face. Rescued in Yakima after being abandoned in a box, Claire hasn’t let her rough start dim her sunny disposition. She’s great with people and other dogs, spreading joy wherever she goes with her happy, curious spirit. Like her sister, Claire has an umbilical hernia, but our vet has given the all-clear to wait until her spay to fix it. This resilient little pup is ready to find a loving home where she can grow, play, and become a cherished member of the family. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate companion, Claire might just be your perfect match!
